Dr. Dawn Phelps Doray

I was very dissatisfied with Dr.Doray and her ‘subjective’ assessments, as well as observations. It was an uncomfortable experience for both of my children and myself. Being a very bubbly, social person myself, it was beyond awkward in her company. I had the feeling she was in the “therapy business” and not genuine or authentic. My children complained she is mean and scary which is the last thing I expected when I was paying $4,000 for an evaluation that cost $2,000 everywhere else in LR.

I noticed a reviewer talking about Doray being all about the "money". Insisted I pay for visits two weeks in advance. Had to deal with the front desk's questionable ethics and general incompetence.

This woman is the most incompetent, unprofessional joke you will ever meet. If you are ordered by the court to see her, insist on them choosing someone else. Seriously. It's frightening that she is in the position of power to potentially ruin an innocent child's life. I'm currently in the process of stripping that away. She is all about money...making you pay her $1,200 to appear in court...then shows up HOURS late...and charges you an extra $400 to review the transcript of what she missed!

She is awesome, she not only helps the children, but helps parents better understand their role.

Been helpful with my daughter for 11 yrs. I totally trust her!
