Dr. David Weinstein

Dr. Weinstein and his staff were fantastic to deal with. I am in Florida for an extended period and they helped me with a potentially serious telephone diagnosis from my doctor in Massachusetts. I saw Dr. Weinstein twice and underwent a cystoscopy after being referred for a CT Scan. He took the time to address the issues and thankfully it was nothing serious. Far different from the scary diagnosis of potential "bladder cancer" from my PCP up north. I can't recommend this office enough and the staff helped me navigate insurance issues. They were professional and made the process easy.

Dr. Weinstein listens to all my concerns, spent all the time I needed to understand my issues. Mostly I called him twice and he returned my calls personally within a timely manner.

I am a 74 year old male who had two long-running and one short-term problem with my enlarged prostate: frequent urination during the day and night plus weak stream were long-term problems. Urinary tract infections, with increasing frequency, were short-term problems. After a Cystoscopy, Dr. Weinstein recommended Green Light Laser Surgery to shrink my prostate and unblock my urethra. I was well-informed and well-prepared for the surgery, which went off without any hitches. Dr. Weinstein was informative both before and after, providing me with reading materials as well as verbal instructions concerning the procedure, the consequences to be expected, and the necessary prescription drugs for infection, pain/discomfort, etc. After two weeks, I am fully recovered, with better urinary habits and neither pain/discomfort nor infection. I can highly recommend both Dr. Weinstein and JFK Medical Center (where I had the procedure).

When I visited Dr. Weinstein I was directed to have a prostate biopsy. He explained what I needed to do, what he was going to look for and how it would work. It was a smooth visit where his due diligence was present.

I recently had a green light laser procedure. It went excellently and I'm totally pleased with the result. Four years prior I was diagnosed with CIS which was treated successfully by Dr. Weinstein and I remain clear to date.

It’s a long story I will try to make it short. February 2017 my wife and I came off a cruise. I was peeing blood. I checked with my friends they told me to see Dr Weinstein. My first Visit with with Dr Weinstein was quick. He set me up with a bunch of test including MRI and X ray and what ever He set up an appointment to come to his office I think it was about a week or so. Here is where Dr Weinstein saves my life. His nurse who by the way is an amazing human being comes into to waiting room and brings me into one of the Rooms Dr Weinstein comes into the room nonchalantly and says to me “ listen to carefully you have a problem with your Bladder that’s why you are bleeding but you have a bigger problem with your lung go see a Pulmonary Doctor now”. The rest of my story is the fact that Dr Weinstein observation and advice. You see within Three weeks I had a piece of my right cancerous lung removed. Soon after Dr Weinstein operated on my bladder I am Healthy

He is very professional yet so easy to relate to.

Called to scheduled appointment and whoever is at the front desk is EXTREMELY RUDE! She became upset because the appointment time she offered didn’t worked for me and hung up the phone in my face! I met with Dr. Weinstein about a week ago and let me tell you it's an experience I'll never forget. Not only did he not introduced himself he was rushing me during consultation very breif with answers when I asked him questions. In my opinion he wanted to get rid of me for the next patient. I will not recommend him to any of my friends let alone family members. I also had a chance to speak with Keisha she was very nice and professional. I'll just have to take my business elsewhere in the future. That's the reason why reviews are extremely important you get to make a decision prior meeting with the doctors. Dr Weinstein has been absolutely amazing !!! Went out of his way, to find in my very unique case the best surgeon in the Cleveland Clinic and personally called in to make sure I will be seen asap !!! Thank you very much for all the care !!!

Jasmine and the rest of the staff up front all have tremendously poor attitudes and do not know how to treat people. They were not only rude in person, but over the phone as well. Dr. Weinstein has provided excellent and timely care for me for three years now, including my recent trans-urethral resection of my prostate. I should have had it done earlier, as he had recommended, but I am very glad that I finally had it done. Tremendous improvement.

I recently had a Turp procedure in April 2018 with Dr Weinstein at JFK . I was nervous about having it done The procedure went well as Dr Weinstein predicted . My overnight stay at JFK was fine I was treated very well by the staff during & after surgery . Three weeks after surgery . I am only getting up twice a night . & feeling very well. Thanks to the professionalism of Dr Weinstein. I would highly recommend Dr Weinstein for his knowledge in dealing with enlarged prostates .

I went to Dr. Weinstein as a request for a second Professional opinion. After my first meeting, I felt very confident that all my questions were answered Professionally, and convinced me to change Physician. My surgery went better than excellent, and without any pain what so ever. The best part is that Dr. Weinstein cares about his patients problems, and works extremely hard in his Profession to bring wellness to patients. Kudos to you Dr. Weinstein, I do have better life after your care.

Dr. Weinstein is extremely thorough and knowledgeable. His explanations are always in terms that I understand. He has been my physician for the last 15 years and I would highly recommend him. His office staff is extremely personable and helpful.

When speaking with Jasmine on the phone, she was incredibly rude and unaccomodating when I was trying to schedule an appointment for someone other than myself, which I have had NO prior issues doing with other staff. When I requested speaking to someone else she said there wasn't someone else, when clearly there was. Lastly, when suggesting she speak with the NURSE that just got off the phone with the PATIENT that wasn't able to make the appointment, she got back on the phone and scheduled the necessary appointment. I politely told her that I didn't appreciate her tone and she said she didn't have one.. I hate to say that Dr. Weinstein is representative of the 1 star I gave, because Dr. Weinstein is a fabulous doctor, but she is at the face of the company is the client world and is giving very poor client service. The Doctors The Doctors at University Urologists help to give me my life back to me again. Leonard Kaufman and David Weinstein were both very helpful in my care and full recovery; because of prostate surgery at J.F.K Medical Center. The "green laser" surgery was recommended, and was used to get me so I that was brought back to where I was able to resume a normal life again. My situation was so bad, that I thought I might have to live with a catheter for the rest of my life. I am so grateful
