The Willow Grove office would not accept my assertion that I was the parent of my 17 yr old Asian son. They insisted I drive home and back and return with my adoption papers to satisfy them. This was his second visit, he was paid in full, but they didn’t have my name on file, as his other parent took him to initial consult. (A referral from family dentist) The printed paperwork we were given from first visit said, “you must have a responsible adult ready and willing to escort and drive you home” Any patients under age of 18 must be accompanied by parent and/or legal guardian.” No where on paperwork does it say PROOF OF OWNERSHIP REQUIRED. I presented all paperwork, insurance, credit card and my drivers license showing same home address. Not enough! At 67, This was the most insulting, embarrassing and ridiculous encounter I have ever had!! What if I had said I was his grandmother??? Aunt? What proof is there? Are other parents, relatives, etc subjected to this? I even called the other parent who verified everything. Still, not good enough. The “Pennsylvania” group of doctors’ CEO, Sean Wild (called by staff) agreed that I should submit adoption papers because “once they put a knife to my son it is considered an assault”??? Seems like Dr Wendell no longer controls what occurs in his own office? Sooo, I took my money back and will find someone that values my family, respects our time, money and expectation of fair and straight forward treatment. I am also going to inform my family dentist who made the referral so they too are aware of this situation. Excellent .

Excellent office. Dr. Wedell is very personable with a calming spirit. All of the staff is very nice and they all have gentle spirits as well. The procedures are so quick and easy which makes your nervousness dissipate. Thank you for great service.

Dr. Wedell and his staff are wonderful! This is the second tooth I've had extracted and what a breeze. Also, tough to find an office that still uses gas these days and they do, makes everything better! Don't hesitate to go to Dr. Wedell!

Ok, let me tell you about this place. Hands down best staff I have ever had help me at medical professionals office. Funny, professional, relaxed, informative and knowledgable all around with everything! Literally able to answer all my questions with ease! Now for that doctor of theirs!..... He was amazing! Again, professional and informative with a sense of humor that was enough to make me relax and feel comfortable. I went in today to get all four wisdom teeth out and it was a breeze. Sure my mouth is tender. Sure I'm in a bit of pain however the pain is equivalent to that of a small headache (probably from not drinking coffee at all today) The other review on here is nonsense and you should disregard it. I asked about antibiotics and the truth behind them not automatically giving them to you is that with the proper care and precaution you will avoid an infection. If they were to give you them you could be sure you be twice as upset and in pain because you'll A.) most likely suffer a real bad upset stomach ???? and B.) it's another pill you have to put into your body for no real reason at all. Do you put a bottle of fuel cleaner in vehicle every fill up? No, didn't think so therefore refrain from putting unnecessary things in yours :) In all Wedell his staff are really 10/10 and I recommend them to anyone in need of oral surgery! it was awful. simple wisdom teeth extraction, no antibiotic. Big infection, no response to antibx after 4 days, refused to do anything different. no f/u calls ever from office staff post extraction. went to f/u visit a week later with swelling, pain unable to open mouth--asked when to come back for f/u again, and Dr asked when is your f/u appointment?
