Dr Tanner has been my Dr since I was 15. He has always been personable and is concerned with my wellbeing. I would recommend him to anyone that suffers from seasonal allergies

Visits are timely and efficient but do not feel rushed. He and his staff have been very helpful.

Dr. Tanner is a Great doctor, he takes his time and explains everything. Excellent patient care. Highly recommend him.

Dr Tanner himself is very knowledgeable. However, the Atlanta Allergy group to which he belongs is in my opinion poorly managed. Their caseload management and patient communications are unacceptable. My experience: had an initial appointment 10/25/2022 with Dr Tanner. He tested me for common allergies causing pruritis and found nothing. He gave me orders for several lab tests and said to book a return appointment. His office then informed me that the next available appointment with Dr Tanner would be January 10, 2023. When I questioned the long delay, I was told he was booked solid until then, so took the appointment. I got all the lab tests by November 4th and sent copies of the results to Dr Tanner personally by mail about 3 days later. I received no confirmation that they were received. Went to January 10th appointment. Dr Tanner told me the tests showed nothing to help my problem. I asked him if he had looked at the test results prior to 48 hours before my appointment. He said yes. I told him he kept me waiting 2 months to tell me this when a simple 3 line email or a 2 minute phone call would have sufficed. He admitted this was so, saying he thought he would discuss the results at my upcoming appointment, 2 MONTHS later. As a last resort, he advised I get a chest xray. I said if he had told me that 2 months prior he would already have the result. He agreed. I told him I would not return because his organizatiion had little respect for patients, was far overloaded, and did not communicate.

Dr. Tanner was very Friendly and took his time explaining the process of what to expect. Dr. Tanner also explained the different types of medications and other options that we try moving forward. Truly Grateful

I was told I could fill out new patient forms in the portal. I couldn’t locate the forms and called back to the Buckhead office and was told they couldn’t it help me and given another number to call. When I finally was able to speak to someone I was told they could not help me either and to call the Buckhead office. I finally found the forms myself and completed them. When I arrived early at my 8:45 appt was told to fill forms out again because those forms were different. The wait time was an hour AFTER I arrived to see the doctor. He has no personality, very dry. Again, I waited for the nurse to prep my son for one skin test, I was finally released at 11:30. No thanks. I will never come back to this office, they are understaffed and do not respect their patients time.

My recent visit to Dr Tanner was the best experience I have ever had at a dr’s office. It was the first time I had been to this practice and everything about it deserves 5 stars - the parking was easy, the office suite easy to find, the waiting room was pleasant and every single employee was friendly and extremely competent. Dr. Tanner was wonderful and very thorough with his questions. I was there with a teen to discuss a potential nut allergy. He even joked with my teenager who was not thrilled to be there and Dr. Tanner quickly won him over. The testing revealed some positives and Dr. Tanner took plenty of time to explain the results and the practical implications of the new diagnosis. I highly recommend Dr. Tanner!
