Spent an afternoon in the emergency room shortly after receiving traction for upper back pain. I've never experienced low back pain until now. What was explained to me as a traction maneuver that would loosen the upper back actually left me with so much low back pain that I was unable to get out of my bed and had to rely on a neighbor to take me to the ER. Months have gone by now and I still suffer tremendously. I did tell him that he hurt me when he was doing this maneuver. Stay far away.
