Tulsa Bone and Joint is the only place I go for back and hand issues. Outstanding all around

This is a HUGE campus, but everyone we met was friendly and helpful. Additional testing is needed, but we won't have to wait weeks! Very impressed so far!

Very professional and knowledgeable; a good listener. haven't had my surgery yet but my confidence in Dr. Mokhtee is high at this point!

Tulsa Bone and Joint is a HUGE campus, but everyone is "small town" friendly. They even have a golf cart to transport you to another building. There are 4 total.

While I got a bad prognosis, his treatment was timely, compassionate, & very much appreciated!

Dr Mokhtee is a professional in what he does. He is such a caring Dr who listens to your needs.

Appointment time was on time, Dr. Mokhtee took time to really listen to me and set up further tests. Very thorough.

Always treated with respect and Dr. Moktee listened to my concerns and took steps to address them. I am grateful for such wonderful treatment.

Great experience with TBJ...again. First time with Dr. Mokhtee. He was extremely kind and pleasant. I had questions and he was glad to answer. Also a shout out to Linda! What a jewel!

My son was referred to Dr. Mokhtee after a thumb fracture. He was so kind and respectful, as was everyone working in the office. He was great with explaining the process and took time to answer questions. I was updated during the surgery and immediately following. We appreciate that and the kindness everyone showed. Absolutely outstanding Doctor. 100% recommend him.

Dr. Mokhtee was quick to get my finger surgery scheduled (same day) and did a wonderful job with the procedure and explaining recovery and follow-up period.

Went to Dr Mokhtee, in November, Again in December, again in January, and then again in February, he insisted that I go to therapy before he would consider surgery. I had previously done therapy myself and my hand was sore and swollen from the therapy, in December, he thought I did to aggressive of therapy, but after seeing a physical therapist, he said I needed a more aggressive therapy, So besides the 4 days of vacation that I took for nothing, the pain of 3 months of therapy, that I told him would not help!!! Now I have. $1500 therapy bill that did no good, and he still doesn’t want to do surgery. So much for the Quality of Life that Dr’s are supposed help with! My physician at the broken arrow emergency room referred me to Dr. Mokhtee for an issue with my finger. I made an appointment for a Tuesday and they called later because they had a cancellation on Monday. Dr. Mokhtee was very engaged and worked to get me into surgery that day! I have since had a post op appointment and he continues to monitor the situation. He has a wonderful bedside manner and I was put at ease and felt I was in good hands. Dr. Mokhtee was easy to talk to. He has a no nonsense type of manner. Answered my questions, gave me choices, them promptly performed the procedure we agreed on. I did have to wait a little longer in the exam room then expected but Dr Mokhtee apologized and explained as soon as he walked in. He also has a very gentle touch and reassuring voice. Had an emergency surgery with the possibility of losing a part of my hand. I kept it. If I had another surgery God forbid, I would chose David B Moktee

Dr Mokhtee was very knowledgeable and able to answer my questions in appropriate jargon that I could understand, very professional and comfortable with his patients ????

Everyone is polite and professional. Dr. Mokhtee has an excellent bedside manner and explains everything well. I feel cared about and in competent hands.

Scheduling was easy. Wait time was short. Dr. acted concerned. What more can you ask for?

Dr Mokhtee took action immediately and had me in surgery within a day and a half. I had dislocated my thumb And I had went to a primary care doctor and had gotten it put back in place and worked on for an hour. And he put a referral in at my request to Tulsa bone and joint because of a previous experience and I was super excited when I got to meet Dr. Mokhtee because I was in a lot of pain and I was curious to know why I was still hurting so bad. They quickly showed me after a couple of x-rays that my thumb could be almost rotated so I had torn my UCL and did not know it. My primary doctor had already put me in a splint and had secured it but I was happy to know that he was ready to get me in immediately and I was able not to have a harvested tendon taken out of my arm. He was able to do the complete repair without the removal of a tendon. I would recommend him five stars. Follow up PA was also excellent when he was out. Dr Mokhtee is very personable and professional. He takes his time and explains thoroughly and answers all my questions. We’re lucky to have him in Tulsa.

Chose Dr. Mokhtee after seeing a number of highly rated reviews. The office wait was longer than anticipated or desired, but he was very thorough with his exam and course of treatment. I recommend him.

Dr Mokhtee removed a tumor from my thumb. Very caring and an awesome surgeon!!! Barely a scar and I have my hand back! His staff was amazing as well!!! Highly recommended!

I seriously can't believe Tulsa Bone and Joint would allow him to practice out of their facility. He is the most incompetent doctor I've ever seen! He actually said I don't have Dupuytren's contracture or arthritis when they were diagnosed almost a decade ago and the x-rays clearly showed arthritis. His PA seemed to know more about my conditions than he did. Will not return or refer anyone to him! I seriously can't believe Tulsa Bone and Joint would allow him to practice out of their facility. Very unprofessional and rushed. This was my 5th & 6th hand surgeries, I was treated like an idiot for asking questions on why I keep going thru hand problems. When my left was still hurting more than it should I was treated poorly for needing a pain med refill. While there for that the surgeon asked my husband & I if we smoked pot very loudly while still in the hall, when answering that my husband was a legal medical marijuana user but I do not I was accused of lying. If I ever have problems with my hands again I won't go back to Mohktee. His bedside manner sucks. I am still in pain with my left a week later. Very unprofessional and rushed. My wife had a serious injury to a pinky finger. One Dr. said all he could do was amputate. Dr. Mohktee saved her finger and she has almost normal use. Now, I have a cyst that He is going to remove from my left thumb. He is an extraordinary surgeon!

This is my son’s second surgical procedure with Mokhtee. I also had an in-office procedure done a yr and half ago. This time around was a complete improvement in bedside manner. Our first two interactions with him consisted of he being very rushed and seeming inconvenienced. Today and yesterday was a complete opposite experience. He was very attentive, caring and concerned. Everything was explained in great detail as well as concerning risks included in his procedure. We will continue to seek his care in any future eligible procedures. I did a thorough somewhat lengthy online patient registration a day or so before the appointment. I arrived 20 minutes early for my 10:00 a.m. appointment, checked in at the front desk, and took a seat in a fairly crowded room that still managed to provide empty chairs for some physical distance among those waiting. Promptly at 10:00 a.m., I was called by name, and I was greeted by friendly staff who escorted me to weigh and on to a waiting room, where the nurse asked me a few questions, and told me Dr. Mokhtee would be in shortly. He was in a few minutes. Dr. Mokhtee was genial, listened intently, answered my questions, gave me steroid shots in two spots on my left palm for the trigger finger(s), and scheduled surgery to remove the knot on my right middle finger as well as a release procedure in my right palm. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the office seemed to run smoothly. Dr. Mokhtee made me feel like I mattered. He listens.

I ended up not seeing anyone for an hour and then it was an asst to the doctor. She was kind and answered my questions so all was not bad. Dr. Mokhtee is the best in my books. I had an accident and compound fractured my wrist. He was called into emergency surgery to do what he could to repair it. I'm proud to report that I'm going to be as good as new. Thanks to him and his team.

Good experience. Dr M fixed my hand and also took care of an injury on the other hand. Very competent staff.

Minimal wait time to be seen. Dr Mohktee and his staff are friendly and respectful. He explained in detail what my condition was and options for treatment. We tried non invasive procedures before it was recommended that surgery was my best option. Surgery was explained in detail as well as a treatment plan for after surgery. Dr Mohktee and his medical staff really listened to and addressed all of my concerns.

Dr. Mokhtee is truly a phenomenal Physician that is superb in treating hand injuries. He thoroughly addressed all of my concerns and questions. He was patient, kind, honest, and genuinely caring about my medical needs.
