Expensive. But we New it would be. I hope the pellets help Bonnie out with her hot flashes. Her modes I can tolerate but those hot flashes she has it bothers me too much

This is round 2 for me here. I have never been to a medical office where everyone is so nice. They never have a problem answering the silliest of questions, and they make me feel as if I am their most important patient.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Mac for 7-8 years. When I first saw him at age 50 I had multiple complaints, and didn’t realize their root problem was low hormone levels. ( i.e. decreased concentration/productivity at work and at home; Daily migraines x 10+ years, mood swings, anxiety — to name a few). Careful close monitoring of my hormone replacement has solved my most difficult issues. I can thank Dr Mac (all office staff) for giving me my life back, physically and emotionally. I only wish I’d started seeing him earlier. As a nurse I respect his (and his office staff) knowledge and ability so highly that I don’t want to see anyone else. When my regular gynecologist wasn’t doing anything about my ovarian cysts, (and told me that at 24 I couldn’t have anymore kids) my mom called Dr Mac. They got me in and he immediately got to work on me. He done ultrasounds and tests. Eventually, he diagnosed me with PCOS and endometriosis. When the medicine wasn’t working, he performed surgery. I’ve felt way better since the surgery. He is very kind and he listens. He is the best in his field and I would recommend him to anyone. He reassured me that although it will be difficult, I can still have kids. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. He is the best! Doctor disrespectful of your personal time. Over an hour late. Does not introduce himself to you while you are clothed. Instead you are processed into a room and told to put a gown on. There you sit in a medical gown. Meanwhile they remind you over and over of how important their time is (in the paperwork you are required to fill out). Penalties or fees will be accessed. Dr mac is the best!~!~!

They gave me my life back and I am so grateful!

Dr McLaughlin helped my two friends and I in the beginning. I went to him first and felt so good I encouraged my friends to go too! The pellet helped our moods and libido! lt was great at first! After a few months my 2 friends started having heavy bleeding from fibroids, polyps, etc. Their doctors said it was probably due to estrogen levels being too high from the pellets. They both ended up having recent hysterectomy’s. I have had bleeding too and have had a D&C. I might be facing a hysterectomy as well. After months of using estrogen detox I feel much better and have lost 10 pounds. Excess estrogen causes weight gain and puffiness. Plus, I had been put on Megestrol by Christi instead of progesterone (due to bleeding) which increases your appetite. I still believe pellets are good and can help menopause issues but your estrogen levels need to be watched closely and not allowed to get too high. Mine got as high as 700-800. According to my new Dr. that is dangerously high. My advice is to be informed and keep a close eye on your levels! I think this is more then coincidence that 3 of us have had major issues. I'm so glad I found Women's Specialty Health Center in Noblesville, IN. Their staff has an immense amount of compassion for the hormone issues women experience. Their professionalism and follow up are top notch! I've not felt this good in years.

At 82, I was still experiencing hot flashes after being taken off hormone therapy 9 months ago. I visited Dr. McLaughlin in June, and not only am I not having hot flashes, my body has changed, I feel better about myself, and my libido has returned. I have been so pleased, that my husband is now visiting Dr. McLaughlin.

I spoke with Dr. McLaughlin about hormone therapy and he was very informative. I've been a patient for more than 13 years, and he and his staff have always provided fantastic care. They are very knowledgable about the latest procedures and information to help their patients in the best possible way.

Best doctor and nurse practitioner EVER! Entire staff are very welcoming. I go every 3-4 months for hormone therapy. Thank you to Dr. David McLaughlin and Kristi for finding the answer to making me feel better.

I have been going to Dr Mac since 1994. The nurses are very friendly and concerned. Dr Mac and Kristi are concerned and very aware of your condition and they listen to what you say. I love them all and have recommended them to several women. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

I realize this appointment was mandated by medicare but felt it was not needed! There is nothing we can do about it but express how I feel!

Love everything about this place! So glad I found them 4 yrs ago.

Excellent first experience. I'm looking forward to my next visit! I already feel the positive effects of appropriately managed hormone replacement.

It says a lot when you are willing to drive 1.5 hours and pay out-of-network...that is how much I love Dr. Mac, Kristy and all the nurses. They are so caring. I feel listened to, cared for and like a person....not just a number.

Kristi and the assistants are always great. Always on time . She listens to my concerns and responds with actions or further questions/suggestions. The entire staff is SO nice....I feel like I am going to visit a friend instead of a doctor visit. When I was experiencing hormonal shifts, I met the compassionate staff at WHS. My wife has been a patient of Dr. Mac since 1990 receiving HRT. I recently became a patient for testosterone therapy the last three years. The experience has been magnificent. We could not be in better hands. Thanks to Dr. Mac and his staff.

Great, personalized care. They understand the health issues facing women and take the time to answer questions. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Mac is the best. I drive 1 hour to see him and Kristy and pay out of network. That is how much I value Women's Specialty Health Center, Dr. Mac an Kristy!

Nothing but positive things to say! I work in healthcare and am aware of how complex and confusing it can be. Women's Specialty Center did a great job up front letting me know what to expect for my initial appointment (process and financially). When I arrived for my first appointment, I felt welcomed & was greeted with a smiled. The nurse that escorted me back and did my initial intake was very informative and listened (very important). When Dr. McLaughlin came in, I felt at ease. He didn't categorize me, but truly listened to me and addressed my specific needs. He explained things to my understanding and answered all of my questions in detail. I also had an ultrasound during my visit. The tech showed me the screen as she was doing the ultrasound & explained everything she was seeing and what it meant. My appointment concluded by meeting with Dr. McLaughlin in his office to go over my final diagnosis, treatment, & next steps. The Women's Specialty Health Center is the place to go to get your "womanly" health on track. I have been a long time patient of Dr. Mac. I have worked with him through my fertility years and treatment and now into menopause and hormone replacement. I would go no where else. I started going to Women's Specialty Health Center in October of 2012. I live in Carroll OH so it's about a 3 1/2 hr drive for me but it's worth the drive! After having a hysterectomy in January of 2011 & almost dying & having a total of 3 surgeries before leaving the hospital I knew that I needed to change doctors to get my health back. A good friend that is a patient referred me to Women's Specialty Health Center. Each year my health continues to get better & better. The staff is amazing. I can't say enough about Dr Mac & Christy.
