David Mael

I went to Dr Mael 5 years ago after seeing something close to 50 doctors in Chicago. No one could figure out what I had, he sat down asked a couple of questions and then told me what he was gonna do. I am today able to walk and live normally thanks to him and been grateful since then. I still see him once / twice a year and the service is outstanding every time.

The best bedside manners EVER, careful, caring and considerate!

Dr. Mael has been treating me for a couple of years now. He is the best rheumatologist. He is knowledgeable, responsive, caring, and compassionate. I couldn’t recommend someone more.

I am extremely selective of my doctors. I absolutely recommend Dr. David Mael. He SITS AND LISTENS. What a blessing to have such a wonderful physician on your side. He's consistent, caring, and gives a ton of education while you're at the office. Thanks doc!!

Dr. Meal has helped me with my condition. Because of his determination in my care, I am now managing the issue and I’m so grateful he helped me figure that I have Lupus and put in the right medication for it. Thank you so much!

I can't begin to explain what an incredible MD Dr. David M. Mael is. He has been very attentive, caring, knowledgeable, responsive, and very kind throughout this entire process. Dr. Mael has definitely gone above and beyond helping me find solutions to the medical issues I have been experiencing. Horrible receptionist! I just called and tried to make an appointment to see Dr. Mael. He is in network and my insurance does not require me to get a referral to see him. The receptionist told me I cannot see him without a referral and all recent labs. I explained my recent labs have absolutely nothing to do with my inflammation and asked what labs specifically he would like to have. She responded they only want the most recent even if they mean nothing. So my last time going to a doctor could be for a broken toe and those are the notes they want. Makes absolutely no sense! I chose this doctor because he’s walking distance so should be the easiest to see. But now I have to make an appointment with another doctor first to get a referral that my insurance doesn’t require, and lab work for him to look at although the receptionist won’t tell me what kind of labs he needs. Dr. Mael is one of the few Doctors that will listen to you, takes all the necessary time to find the reason of your health issue and finds the best option for you. Very Professional, kind and supportive. So far the best Dr. I've meet in this City.

Dr. Mael took a great amount of time and attention in dealing with my particular situation. He set down and spent time with me as he discussed the options available. I felt like I was a real person and was not just rushed in and rushed out. I would highly recommend him.
