Dr. David A Konanc

Today was my first time visiting. And I’m very skeptical of doctors. Dr Konanc was thorough and I was at ease. I believe he actually HEARD all my concerns and will do whatever it takes to address my concerns.

Pompous and dismissive

My son inherited Dr. Konanc after his pediatric neurologist retired. Though we are just beginning a professional relationship with him, he's very thorough, communicative and pleasant. I sent forms for him to complete, for my son's transportation renewal request, and was told it the turn around time is between take 2-3 weeks. When I was there, with my son for a routine visit, just 5 days after sending it, he informed me that the forms were completed and I could ask the staff to print them before leaving. What a positive experience for a critical matter. I have been dealing with migraines and daily headaches for a few months now. I was referred to Dr. Konanc and he made feel so heard, and put me at ease. He took my concerns serious. He explained everything that I asked him about. He friendly with my 2-year-old in the room and very kind. I brought photos and documents from my other specialist, and he read through all of them, dismissive at all. I felt like my care was in great hands. Very knowledgeable, considerate and I was very with the next stage of care. What a positive experience for a critical matter. Dr. Konanc is skilled, caring, and always willing to answer questions. The injections I get in my back muscles can be quite painful, so he helps by explaining exactly what he is doing and counts down after each injection. He also provides a bag of ice for my comfort on my 2 1/2 hour drive back home. I highly recommend him.

This doctor is arrogant condescending and rude. His attitude towards his patients is disgusting. The only reason why he gets 1 star is because that was the only way to leave a review. He dismisses his patients when he doesn’t know how to handle them. This is the worst thing you could do as a physician. To be a neurologist he sure does not use his brain!!!! The only reason why this clown gets a star is because this is the only way to leave a review on Google. His ethics are are disgusting and he deserves his license revoked. He is the most disgusting and rude ''provider'' that the medical board of directors could elect to be a physician, To be a ''neurologist'' a brain doctor he sure does not use his ''brain''. He dismisses his patients when he doesn't know what to do with him, and refer them to a doctor with even lower competence. He is very condescending, and arrogant. My daughter left his practice in worst shape than she came in. I will say that nothing positive will prosper from his practice . BEST DOCTOR at Raleigh Neuro!!! Kind, patient and communication is excellent.

The doctor is competent, caring, and very knowledgeable. I think people who wish to criticize need to give examples. How was he arrogant? Rude? Did he not agree with you?
