Dr. Kim is a great surgeon. His bedside manner was excellent, even when I asked a bunch of noob questions. The CTR surgery went off without a hitch. The incision is like half an inch, and he is the Michelangelo of suturing. They're absolutely beautiful. Tiny and even and perfect Xs, the sides of the insicion pulled even and the skin is not bunched up like some I've seen. It's healing great, I don't think there's going to be much of a scar. Big fan. I'm going to request him for my alternate hand when it's time. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because he wasn't informative of what results to expect from the surgery, what the complications might be, how to care for the incision site at home, or what hand excersizes to do or how/when to do them. I only know I'm supposed to be doing them from coming across the info online. This might not be good for his less intelligent patients.

I had CTR surgury by Dr. Kim, and it went really well. Immediate releif of the sharp palm pains and complete numbness of my fingertips. The insicion and stitches are a work of art. I've seen some pictures of people's CTR sites on reddit while researching what to expect, and his sutures are a work of art. They are perfect little Xs, straight and evenly spaced, the incision is tiny, only 1/2 an inch, and the skin is drawn together smoothly, not all bunched up like I've seen. 10/10 on technique. His bedside manner was warm and caring, even when I was ignorant of why anesthesia was necessary. He didn't offer anything in the way of information regarding what outcomes to expect, complications that might arise, home wound care, or hand excersizes, that's his only flaw. This was fine for me as I practiced due diligence and googled it, but it might not be very good for his less self-education inclined patients. I'll be requesting him for my second surgury when it is time.

Dr Kim was amazing! So thoughtful, so kind, and fixed me! I would unconditionally recommend him! I wish all doctors were like him.

Dr. Ahn is a fantastic doctor I would never go to anyone else but him.

This man is a butcher. He ruined my mother’s hand. Do not trust this man.

Warning -this doctor ruined my hand. I had carpel and ulnar surgery a year ago. Nothing was corrected and it is worse. Now I suffer from joint issues in my pinky and ring finger, trigger finger and thumb seized up. I have random pain from elbow into wrist. I never had any of these issues before. They should never have suggested surgery. On top of that Dr Kim’s bedside manner was not great. There was no follow up or instructions on strength building. I wish I had followed my gut while in exam room and run away!!!!

Almost 1 year ago I had ulnar nerve and carpal tunnel surgery done-wish I never had. Got bad advise from neurologist at office to have procedure ( just wanted surgery to make $ instead of suggesting physical therapy or special excersizes. Dr Kim personality before surgery was non existent. He left me with barely any info for follow up. Never gave info for strength building or anything. Now on to how my hand and arm are after almost 1 year-soooo much worse than before surgery. Nothing was corrected, everything is worse. I like most Reliant Dr’s I have gone to but the Neurology office and Dr’s are lazy and a bunch of crooks. Nurses at surgery center were good. My advise-DO NOT LET DR KIM DO SURGERY ON YOU.

There really isn't much I can say about Dr. Kim other than he is wonderful at what he does. Highly skilled, excellent bedside manner and cares for his patients. I have had surgery with him, have had cortisone injections and consults with him and each time I leave feeling as though (and knowing) that he truly cares about my well being. He is an excellent surgeon, doctor and person!

He is very skilled Dr. He has a great bedside manner. Compationate and makes sure you understand what's happening. I would highly recommend him!!
