David Glenn Huss

I had a great first and second experience with Dr. Huss after that not so much. We ended up having to change my sons medication to a stimulant. We were aware that we have to have his pre-authorize this medication. A week went by and my sons medication was still not authorized. I reached out to Dr. Huss multiple times about this and he kept insisting it was my pharmacy and that there was nothing he could do. I went to my pharmacy and learned that it took Dr. Huss a week to send the fax confirmation to my pharmacy. Another week went by and still no medication I called my pharmacy again and learned that Dr. Huss did not send my insurance company the authorization for the medicine. I ended up having to contact my insurance company so that they could fax him the pre authorization. I can not express how upset I am over this matter and will not be seeing Dr. Huss anymore over this.

My daughters appointment was 3 weeks ago. He basically told us that he had no idea what was causing her problems. He said he would have to research a certain type of headache. He came back and told us that he didn’t think that’s what she had but he was going to diagnose her with it anyway and put her on medicine. I told him I wasn’t putting her on medicine. If he’s not sure that’s what is wrong then why put her on medicine. Then he told her we could give her melatonin instead. He ordered an MRI to rule certain things out. They called to make the appointment and told me they couldn’t do it because she has braces. I called Dr. Huss’s office to see if they could do a cat scan instead. I never heard back from them. I have been calling and her Pediatrician has been calling for 3 weeks now trying to get an order for a cat scan and I have still not heard anything from his office. We are getting a 2nd opinion in another state. I wouldn’t recommend him. Horrible experience.
