Dr. Gutlove and staff are awesome. They make me feel right at home.

I have been with Dr. Jamesetta Lewis since 2008. I followed her from Affinity to Mercy. I give a good report and well recommended. Dr. Lewis has worked with me to improve my condition (R.S.D.S.). Dr. Lewis simple programs of care improve quality of life activity. Dr. Lewis is a source of sound suggestions and information based on professional practice and ethics. Stark County and Mercy organization should feel blessed having her on staff. Ladies on support and nursing staff have guided me with top care. I as a chronic pain suffer am grouchy many times over years due to constant pain. Staff realizes that pain is real not psychological. Staff understand chronic pain behavior is an opportunity to counsel and advise. I follow Dr. Lewis's simple programs with high results. I could not do recovery by myself. This place hires the most inadequate from desk people I have ever met. They discharged me today because they said due to my outburst. Would you be mad if they lied to you..sent you home to get your appt card then said it wasn't written out like they write it out. Like I went home and just happened to have one of there cards and wrote my own appt. They stood there and told lies and laughed. I'm sorry to Dr. Gutlove, I have not seen you, and I assume you could be alright based on what I have heard, and you having a cool name. Gutlove is very important-- we all need to pay more attention to our micro-biome. This review is for Dr. Lewis and Ward. It took me a while of being told and not listening to people telling me to find a legitimate pain management doctor and getting worse and worse before I understood the importance of something being done. I didn't think I could get this bad or be thrown out after finally getting in to see them after they neglected every opportunity in the past. If you really care about your life or loved ones... please don't go to Mercy pain management-- even if it could be Gutlove and he is alright... I would not risk it. I love Dr Gutlove and his nurses! They are all wonderful!

I was referred to Dr Lewis by my Rheumatologist. She has been fair with me. The front desk and back office staff are so pleasant and Dr. Lewis shows empathy, but won't kiss your hynie if you aren't working your program.

Love the nurse and DR. Gutluv has been the only one who has taken my pain serious and respects my refusal to take pain pills in stead sent me for mri and sent me to a great surgeon. He has gotten to the bottom line of why I have been in pain. Thank you!

This place is a joke. My wife was a patient there for 10 months, during this time the office cancelled her appointments twice plus never ordered an mri to assess her lower back problems. I've never been so upset with this place. Dr. Lewis doctor that i was assigned to kicked me off the program. Yes at first I wasn't very serious about my program but I've been sober for 3 year's now. I've been having really bad cravings and seeking for help and she's going to tell me I'm no longer allowed to come back to the program even though she said i can come back in a year? ???? So my understanding you want me to be on the Street's shooting up herione and crack and cocaine. Thank you so much for helping me stay sober since that's your job right? ???? This place killed my stepmoms mom , which is really messed up.. They took her off her pain meds for no reason, just did it up and cold turkey on her. Because of them , Debbie Wood is no longer with us. This doctor needs his medical license taken away from him. Let him take a walk in the WOODS family shoes and see how he likes it. .....if I could give him 0 star rating , I would. MERCY MEDICAL Center Pain Management of Canton is the worst place I've ever seen!!!!! DR. Jamesetta.Lewis and her CNP Jamie Demarco treated my mother Debbie A. Wood like a piece of trash, She had been in pain Management for 15yrs and had never failed a drug test or used any kind of drugs. On 1-26-18 she had a false positive for meth! The office never called her to make her aware of this she didn't find out till it was time for her refill on 2-13-18 and even then they wouldn't tell her what it was, they just cut her off a high dose of narcotics without weaning her off properly she was then faced with the terrible withdrawal reaction from Dr Lewis abruptly stopping her much needed meds! And all the Dr had to do is retest that same urine with a break down panel so my mom could prove her innocence the only thing she was taking around the time of the test was cold and allergy medicine that must have caused her false positive for meth, but Dr Lewis refused to retest that same urine and unfortunately it has to come from the Dr. So my mom got labledl a drug addict and couldn't even see another Dr as that was now in her records for life!!!! Sadly my mother took her own life over all of this from the pain and embarrassement!!!! I hope the office reads this and feels the Pain my mom went through!!!! I now consider Dr Gutlove and Associates part of the problem. I have been a chronic pain patient for years. My doctor retired and sent me to Dr Gutlove at Mercy Medical on Canton Ohio. First words out of his mouth ... I will NEVER prescribe opiates. He went on to offer "new" treatments my ins won't cover. So a year and a half later I sit here without my house being properly cleaned. Waiting for winter so the field that used to be my lawn dies. I have gone to Dr. Gutlove for a number of years. He is caring, kind, and courteous. Listens and explains! I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Gutlove and his staff.

I haven't been to him in a long while because he's that good with the injections that I've been doing great Dr Gutlove is the only Doctor I will let do my injections in my back. Very caring and called me to see how I was doing when I got a spinal headache from a spinal tap in the ER.

I have been seeing Dr Gutlove for the last five years for back pain as well as neurological pain due to auto immune disorders. Dr Gutlove listens to every thing I have to say goes over all test results he may have ordered in detail. He will not stop till he gets to the source of your pain and will manage it to give you the best quality of life you can have. He is awesome and is very kind and concerned for your well being. Office staff are so kinda and helpful. DR Gutlove is so kind, his MA is a doll, she goes out of her way to help in anyway she can, she answers all of our questions of finds one. He takes his time and is an excellent physician, he is so compassionate and caring.
