Dr. Gruber was very helpful in explaining what was going on with my injury, and what would take place both during and after the surgery. Very personable and understanding. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing surgery in his field of expertise.

I was referred to Dr Gruber through my primary. From the moment Dr Gruber introduced himself in his office, I knew I was in good hands. He discussed all my options/treatments to include surgery and then gave me all the time I needed to make a informed decision... And that was to have surgery. His compassion for my health is commendable!!! Coming to see me prior to my surgery and to visit post operatively, giving his reassurance and outcome. Dr Gruber is a highly qualified nuerosurgeon, skilled and caring for his patients. Thankyou for caring for me. I'm two weeks post-op.. And feel great!!!

5 plus stars for Dr Gruber! He recently performed a cervical spine fusion that gave me my life without pain back. He explained my options and why he recommended one procedure over the others. He genuinely cares about his patients and it shows. His staff were friendly and helpful. His PA is fantastic too. Post surgery I’ve encountered several other patients who have seen Dr Gruber and they all say the exact same thing. He is amazing and they would highly recommend him also. I have called over and over in the past 4 years to get him to see me because he is the only one who has that stupid remote thing to my magnet programmable shunt and his office keeps just telling me to go see my primary care doctor that im probably fine. well they can only treat me to see if the shunt is broken they cant check my valve settings here or any of that other stuff. im sick of being treated this way my life is in his hands and he just ignores me if the shunt isn't broken. well im having a lot of symptoms along with being overly tired and having to fight to stay awake the past few days has been bad. I have insomnia but last night I went to sleep before 10pm and tonight ive been fighting it for hours now ive felt like im just gonna faint or pass out I don't feel right. it could be something else but that doesn't matter. hes a doctor when someone calls and wants to make and appt then they should be aloud to do so not be turned away. my life is in someone else hands. sick of it!

Dr. Gruber gave hope when the other surgeon gave none. He took me on even though I was told he was too far out to help me. I was immediately better after surgery and progressing daily. He is phenomenal!

This was a long time ago but I felt the urge to post. I had two ruptured discs - L4 and L5 and was losing function of my foot; with excruciating sciatica. Once Gruber saw the MRI results, he said "You need surgery, NOW." He showed me 3D images of my ruptured discs rotated at every angle including from the top down, and you could really see how it was pressed against the spinal cord. He had the insurance approval rushed because I had no time to wait. He was kind yet firm. He was reassuring before the surgery. Afterward he followed up appropriately and made sure I understood that I must be careful of my lower back for the rest of my life. Dr Gruber and his staff are basically perfect. He is an amazing surgeon and his staff is so friendly, knowledgeable and awesome that I wish I could have this medical team tend to all my health needs. I love them all!!

I have had two different types of surgery’s with Dr Gruber and his team and have had excellent care both times. David Gruber is awesome and has the best bed side manner of any doctor for this type of work. I will tell anyone and everyone to seek out him for their issues. Both him and his team are amazing. Thanks to them all for their help in making me comfortable and healthy.

When another surgeon from his office gave no hope and refused surgery, Dr. Gruber came in and not only gave hope...he did the surgery and I was able to walk the next day. I am so incredibly grateful that he worked me in even though he was totally swamped.

Dr. Gruber is a great guy! I met with Dr. Gruber last Friday and he took the time to review my MRI studies and explain in words I could understand what was going on in my neck. Finally after all of these years in pain and convincing insurance I needed an MRI of my neck, Dr. Gruber explained why I need to have surgery on my neck. I completely trust Dr. Gruber and I look forward to having surgery on my neck! Thanks Dr. Gruber for listening to me and ordering another MRI!

I tried to schedule an appointment with Doctor Gruber but his female employee said he wouldn't see me because I used to go to another neurosurgeon. I explained that my former doctor no longer accepts my insurance and that I cannot afford to pay the out of pocket out of network costs - Doctor Gruber is in my network. She stated that he wouldn't see me as I had started with someone else! I have never heard of such a thing anywhere and his Accepts New Patients ad doesn't say with conditions!!!!

Dr. Gruber and his staff are fantastic. He is very caring and understanding. He took his time explaining everything and listened to my concerns and answered all my questions without hesitation. I am very greatful to him for all he did for me. I am pain free for the first time in many years.
