Dr. David Jonathan Greene

I can't recommend this place. They failed to extract 2 of my teeth and charged me $1000 for the anesthesia that they used. Sure, the anesthesia was an expensive resource that they wouldn't be getting back, but I had to spend the next couple of weeks suffering in pain, bleeding out of my mouth and unable to eat solid food. On account of a doctor cutting my mouth open and then having to sew everything back together without having actually done anything. Dr. Greene is the one who attempted the extractions and said that "in his 30 years of practice he had never seen teeth like mine so fused to the jaw". He explained he had to make a decision whether or not to continue with the surgery as he might be putting my life in danger, and decided not to take the risk. I appreciate that, but would have also appreciated a full refund, as the brutal recovery period was for worse than nothing, and the charge was a literal insult to a literal injury.

My husband had a consult for an implant with no x ray taken at the consult as he has not been in pain for a couple of months. He met with the dr for two minutes and the implant coordinator discussed payment. He obtained a 2nd opinion and the dentist took a current x ray and said if it was his tooth he would wait and not do an implant at this time. No pain for two months yet Dr Greene's office knew this and didn't take a current x ray, which would have been covered by our dental insurance. The front desk is very concerned about payment prior to the actual procedure. If you want to pay for services which have not been rendered yet, this is the office for you as that was our experience prior to the surgery, which we ultimately cancelled as he doesn't even need the implant presently.

Was told by referring physician and Dr Green that his office charged $400 for a CT scan but insurance only reimbursed $300. My out of pocket expense was to be $100 which I paid after my less than 5 min exam. Two weeks later I received an additional charge of $127 that no one explained. Turned out I didn't even need the CT scan as my previous scans showed I was not a candidate for braces. I paid for unnecessary imaging plus my credit was impacted by additional unknown charge.

I had to get my wisdom teeth out in my 40s. Finally did it and it was easy. Glad I chose Dr. Greene.
