It was pain-free and worry-free experience. The office and Doctor David Godin will be on the top of my conversations with relatives and friends.

The doctor was always late. When the doctor finally comes into the office, there is no explanation of your results. When I asked questions, his answers were short and I felt as though he was rushing off. The doctor also stated he would send a referral for a sleep study but never did. After 1 month, I had to call to find out what happened. Terrible!

Dr.Godin is my fathers ENT. He quickly got my father in when there was a concern of cancer. Dr. Godin was extremely empathetic and helpful in getting my father the appropriate treatment in a timely manner. He is a very honest and kind doctor who is great at communicating with his patients and their families.

Dr. Godin is a legend! I saw him per my MD's request to get some very excessive ear wax build up removed. He was quick, efficient and hilarious! The office was very clean, organized and the staff was helpful. Hopefully I don't have to come back, but if I do - I know I'll be in good hands.

I saw Dr Grodin for a chronic sinus infection and told him I needed to avoid antibiotics because I had a C-Dif infection the last time I took antibiotics for this infection. He took a swab of my sinuses and sent it out to culture. He did not listen to me and the next thing I knew, my pharmacy called me to tell me my antibiotic prescription was ready! He had prescribed an antibiotic before he even got the culture report back to tell him what bacteria it was and what antibiotic was best! I cancelled the prescription never went back.

Dr Godin is the best of the best ENT physician. He performed comprehensive exam and an efficient procedure. Can not express our gratitude toward him and the team!

This was only my second visit to Dr Godin. I walked in with an ear problem, walked out without it. Staff was efficient and waiting room was spacious and uncrowned. Wait time was minimal.

Dr. Godin is so kind and patient. He also explains everything to you as he is performing an exam. I am a pediatrician and refer my patients to him all the time. He always accommodates my patients as well.

Worst doctor is Godin. Is in the room for a total of 1.5-2 mins somehow manages to total to a +1k bill for using a small nasal scope and hearing test. This place is worse than a car dealership with the trumped up charges. The issue I came with wasn’t resolved by the way… a teledoc gave me an antibiotic and got me taken care of.

Dr. Godin agreed to see me last Friday, without an appointment, with a serious nosebleed. He was nothing short of superb. I was a mess (started the day at 6 AM in the Mt Sinai ER, where they did nothing). He fixed me up professionally and with kindness. I am grateful for his skill and his willingness to care for me.

Terrible pain caused by nasal endoscopy he gave, I had a terrible reaction to the probe with severe headache, nausea and vomiting. Dr. Godin gave poor explanaton and service, and exhibited borderline unprofessional behavior. I am still dealing with the after effects including debilitating headaches, which I never had previously.

Dr. Godin was thorough and put me at ease for the symptoms I had. A true professional. He explained everything in terms I understood and convinced me that he would see things through to the very end.

Dr Godin was really amazing he was successfully able to diagnose me I was not capable of breathing through my right side of my nose my entire life , I had a birth defect Choanal atresia and nasal septum issue , he performed a surgery on me and within a couple of days I was able to breath equally from both nostrils .. I feel great for first time in my life , I had no bruising scaring or excesses bleeding after surgery , he took his time examining me and making sure I was ok ... Dr. Godin is an amazing doctor. I showed up at his office with an active nosebleed when nobody else would see me. Other doctors told me that I needed to go to the ER, but I didn’t want to during COVID because I was also pregnant. After understanding my medical history he called my OB to understand which medication she was comfortable with him giving me. He was extremely patient and kept me at the office until he felt that I was OK. He was able to locate the bleed without using any real medication and cauterized it. Dr. Godin was very thorough with a warm bedside manner. He took the time to explain the procedure in detail including some of the challenges and complications I might face post-surgery. Dr. Godin is a consummate professional and a highly skilled practitioner. I sought treatment to diagnose a sinus infection but quickly learned that something else was at play. As someone with medical anxiety I am grateful for Dr. Godin's caring bedside manner, his clear communication style and his persistence to determine diagnosis. He is exceedingly competent but it is his tremendous compassion that will make me a patient for life!

We needed a specialist for our granddaughter who was suffering from acid reflux and shortness of breath - so thankful we found Dr. David Godin. He was able to determine that she had growths on her vocal cords and quickly arranged the best team to treat her. Dr. Godin carefully explained the procedures, the benefits and the risks. We never felt pressured, we just felt confident in his skills. We now know that left untreated the growths could have become cancerous and even fatal. Thank you so much Dr. Godin.

I first visited Dr. Godin after suffering from chronic sinus infections and complications of a deviated septum. Happy to report that 8 years later, I have experienced no complications and have remained clear of sinus infections. He and the staff at ENT are awesome and I highly recommend them if you have severe allergies or any sinus issues.

I am grateful I was referred to ENT and Allergy Associates – Fifth Ave offices. Doctor Godin and his assistant Curt were helpful right at the start. Dr. Godin takes the time to listen, he’s compassionate, and most important, has been thorough in my examinations. In this time of the pandemic, when medical resources have been taxed, it was a relief to find a medical team available, face-to-face, providing top notch care. During my visits, the office staff is also very welcoming and helpful. The calm spacious waiting area is set up with the important social-distancing protocols. All my visits so far were a step closer to healing and I left feeling confident with my treatment.

My nasal surgery was scheduled on short notice and occurred on a Friday in late December. It required two surgeons, each with designated procedures. Dr. Godin had performed a more conservative procedure for me 12 years prior and I definitely wanted him on the team. It was the right choice again. Multiple preliminary diagnostic tests and office visits were necessary. Thanks to an impressive, professional staff, these were scheduled, performed and completed with ease and precision. Coordination between the two surgeons, Dr. Godin and Dr. Joseph Rousso, was similarly seamless. The surgery plan was that Dr. Godin would go first and Dr. Rousso would finish. It was a complex procedure lasting five hours. I found out later that Dr. Godin went beyond his call of duty by staying in the room to assist Dr. Rousso as needed. I can now breath better than I can ever recall in a lifetime and my quality of life has doubled as a direct result. Indeed, my voice even sounds deeper. Dr. Godin’s work, coupled with the fact that he went over and above, is both astonishing and deeply moving to me. Dr. David Godin is simply the best doctor that I have ever treated with in any capacity. I have had multiple surgeries by some of the most renowned doctor in the world and Dr. Godin has stood out among them all. Over 15 years ago Dr. Godin did surgery on my son to remove his adenoids and tonsils to help him sleep and breathe better. It was a life changing event for him. He went from every night waking with a consistent sweaty head and when he was stuffy from having long struggling pauses between breaths to sleeping soundly and comfortably ever since with no side effects of surgery whatsoever. Dr Godin gets 5 stars!!! Incredible physician who healed my ear. He truly cares about your health even when you are struggling financially (furloughed due to COVID 19) He will forever be my ENT as long as I am in NYC!!!!!

Recent appointment for my children during Covid-19. I felt very safe when visiting the office. We were all checked as we entered the office. Seats are marked off for safe social distancing. We were seen fairly quickly for both our audiologist and Dr. Godin. Hand sanitizer was available for use as you enter, leave, and throughout the office. Masks were worn by all staff and frequent hand washing was seen. Dr. Godin and his team are taking all necessary precautions at this time. Do not hesitate to come into the office.

I was getting lightning shock pains in my jaw. It was suggested to go to an ENT. As a professional doctor, I feel like one would know the symptoms of trigeminal neuralgia. Special Needs Patients Beware! I would not recommend Dr. Godin or his practice. This review is delayed by a few years but wanted to post regardless. Dr. Godin and the staff knowingly let our autistic son melt down for over 45 minutes in one of the waiting offices. Our experience had been that the office often ran behind in terms of scheduling. That said on this particular day and knowing our son was special needs, to let a child "cry it out" for over 45 minutes while waiting for the doctor - everyone could hear what was going on and we asked several times for help - is completely inexcusable. Also, not sure if I caught him on a bad day, but the patient should be able to at least ask a couple of questions or hear some feedback from the doctor and not just be rushed out of the office without even knowing the consultation was over.
