I am an extremely neurotic mother to my only son who is 22 but in my eyes still ten! He unexpectedly broke his foot. Three broken bones two dislocated toes. Well....first I must rave about Jennifer. She explained why surgery immediately was a MUST! My voice of reason. Then the calls from Dr. Gitlin himself both before AND after surgery? Compassionate, caring, calming!!!! Excellence, innovation and compassionate care describe my experience with Dr. Gitlin. After a successful surgery but still in the healing process I was assaulted on the streets of NY and Dr. Gitlin called me while I was in the ER. I texted him a pic of my face and he called me immediately. That was beyond what I'd come to expect in medical care. Excellent Doctor

Dr. Gitlin is great! His bedside manor is amazing and his staff is great as well. He explained everything; my options, surgery, etc. As we continue to work together I will ‘say’ more.

The front line tells me a lot. His office manager, Alexandra, was knowledgeable, helpful and prepared me for an exceptional consultation with Dr. Gitlin a week prior. I was not disappointed. Dr. Gitlin fires on all cylinders whether he's mapping out the medical strategy or getting to the heart of the matter with his patient. I am confident that this surgery and recovery is in good hands with Dr. Gitlin and his team.

Dr Gitlin is one of the best doctors I have ever had. He is genuinely concerned about his patients well being. He performed my surgery to repair a torn lisfranc ligament. He was amazing from pre op, to the day of the surgery, and thru the follow up appointments. Having offices on Long Island and in the City also made seeing him very convenient. I would 100% recommend Dr Gitlin to anyone! I wish there were more doctors like Dr Gitlin.

Dr . Gitlin is an excellent doctor. He is very knowledgeable and his bedside manner is fantastic. He goes above and beyond . Dr. Gitlin explained my surgery to me and made sure I understood everything. He also explained to my father at the hospital and answered all his question. Dr. Gitlin performed my surgery in July and I had full access to him . Everything he said about the surgery was on point . I have full confidence in his medical expertise . He is a very caring doctor and also very accomdating for all his patients . He is also now treating my husband and perform surgery on my husband . My husband was going through a rough road, but because of Dr. Gitlin he is recovering better . I highly recommend Dr. Gitlin , there should be more doctors like him. Dr . Dr. Gitlin is a doctor with a heart and one that truly cares, my husband sees him and every time he is very accommodating and always goes the extra mile. You can tell that quality care is the order of the day for him. His front desk staff is also very pleasant, respectful and always helpful. Highly recommend this doctor.

Doctor Gitlin his Staff and my overall experience is of the highest Quality I was so well taken care of that the whole experience start to get me all emotional. Dr. Gitlin is truly a amazing surgeon. I recently suffered a catastrophic leg break. He was able to get me in to take x-rays and consult with him personally. We were able to do major surgery last week and I suffering no pain. The care and attention which Dr. Gitlin, his staff and his residents took with my case will stay with me for the rest of my life. I would not hesitate to recommend to Dr. Gitlin to anyone who wants the best care and the best surgeon.

Dr Gitlin is a highy rated surgeon but I have no idea why. I went to meet with him and he never examined me. I met with a resident and a med student. The resident didn't feel it was necessary to discuss anything with me and after a 5 minute convo with him and no x-ray, just listening to my complaints he said I should have a highly complicated surgery. There was no explanation of what it would entail, and the resident was shocked when I wouldn't schedule the surgery right there and they

Need serious, complex foot/ankle surgery?He's your man!!!!

Dr. Gitlin is an excellent doctor . Very knowledgeable and his bedside manner is perfect. He goes above and beyond for his patients . He did surgery on my foot and though the whole recovery I had full access to him and everything he said happened. Dr. Gitlin also explained my surgery to me and also my father at the hospital. He is also now treating my husband . There should be more doctors like him .

I walked in with what I thought was a high ankle sprain. Quickly Dr. Gatlin x-rayed me and then sent me for an MRI. Lucky for me he noticed that I had broken my ankle and fractured my fibula. His bedside manor is top notch right there with his credentials!
