Wonderful! I've been a long time patient of Dr. D. Alan Chandler & I am so happy that he has now opened his own practice at Memorial Regional Medical Center Hospital in Mechanicsville. He is always very thorough and I never feel rushed. His staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He also offers flexible availability for appointment scheduling. I definitely recommend Chandler Eye Care Specialists PC for your eye care needs!

Very good and explains everything in layman's terms. I really like him and have seen many more before him. I will continue to see him in the future.

Kept us waiting for surgery - he didn't bother showing up until 2 hours after scheduled procedure time. This was beyond the getting there an hour early to be prepped. The follow up appointment which was scheduled first am was just as bad. He didn't even show up at his office until 10am. He has no consideration for anyone's time except his own.

I have been a patient of Dr. Chandler since the eighties.He performed cataract surgery 1993. I feel the wait can be long; but because I respect his expertise, I have adjusted to the long waits at times. I have had a myraid of unusual eye conditions he has successfully treated, so I wait. The staff is friendly and polite.

2 1/2 hours start to finish and did perform the test we were there for.... never said anything about long waits! Don’t go if you value your time!!

After injuring my eye, his staff fit me right in. He was thorough in examining my eye and took the time to diagnose and treat it. His staff was friendly.

I have been seeing Dr. Chandler for several years. Most recently I had to have surgery for a rare type of cataracts. I was seen within two days of calling and then had surgery a few days later. Follow up appointments were scheduled easily and I was seen in a reasonable amount of time.

Extremely long wait times Doesn't seem to know or care strange personality moving on...bye bye...

Extremely long wait times up to 3 hours the last time the doctor did not arrive until 45 minutes after my appointment

I was the second appointment of the day at 8:30 am and wasn't seen until 9:25. From then, Dr. Chandler did more to tell me about what I don't have as opposed to what I do have. So far the medication provided has not worked. I am now looking for a new ophthalmologist.
