David Carnovale

Absolutely the worst fertility Doctor you could ever go to. He is only in it for the numbers. If you don't meet his high standards then you are declined. He would rather send you away crying then even try to help you. He needs to resign. All the fertility doctors around Indy talk so bad of him.

I’m still in the thick of it with my IVF journey but I just have to gush about how much I love each and every person in this office! Dr. Carnovale is truly a kind person. He goes above and beyond and doesn’t think anything of it. I’ve had to call a couple times after hours with concerns and he is so gracious about it, and truly cares. He’s smart and humble. I 100% trust that he has my best interest in mind. Now to the nurses…EXCEPTIONAL. Caring, positive, funny, and just good-hearted people! I feel like I’m hanging out with family when I’m with them. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. As much as I hope to “graduate” from this place one day, I at least get to enjoy this part of my journey knowing I’m in good hands and with people who love what they do and care about their patients. Poor choice for a fertility doctor! My wonderful doctor from my first child retired so I went to Dr. Carnovale. All my records were transferred. I got pregnant right away, but Dr. Carnovale only had me taking 1 progesterone pill, but I should have been on 2. It said this in my prior records from the previous doctor. I then had a miscarriage because of him. After this, he said I had a fibroid and had to do surgery before I try and get pregnant again. We did the surgery, but he never found the fibroid. So sad!!! I feel like he was out for money rather than helping me. I would definitely not recommend him at all. We ended up going to Midwest Fertility and loved them and had no problems at all!!! I wouldn't go here. The office staff members filed my insurance claim incorrectly so I had a huge bill to pay, even though insurance would have covered it had the office filed the claim correctly. I called and asked the office to refile the claim and they refused to do so. They did this to my sister too. The office staff members are really unprofessional. Also, he made me do a procedure I did not want to do. Update* they fixed the issue but I had to go through the hospital’s appeals process which was annoying. I wouldn't go here. Dr Carnovale is so patient, kind, and very knowledgeable. He helped us conceive our daughter and the process was so smooth. They have thought of everything! All his staff is so kind and really makes you feel at ease. He never over promises anything and will do everything in his power to help you. Thank you Dr. Carnovale and his team at Community North. Thanks to you we now have a beautiful, healthy son. This practice is a well oiled machine. They know what they're doing and do it efficiently and well. We are forever grateful.

We tried and failed at another IVF clinic before our insurance company led us to Dr. Carnovale. We have twins now so 5 stars. His staff and Dr. Bolt are great.

We were referred to Dr. Carnovale by my doc. She let me know ahead of time that his bedside manner wasn’t great, but was fantastic at what he does. She was right!! He’s very straight and to the point and wonderful at what he does! We now have our 1-year old because of him and his staff. I feel bad for the poor reviews on here, so that’s why I decided to make one of my own. Don’t let the bad reviews deter you! We LOVE him and his staff! We were referred to Dr. Carnovale by my doc. Dr. Carnovale is the best have ever seen in my 10 years of infertility journey. His diagnosis and treatment are to the point, explains everything before the treatment and always optimistic. Our first attempt failed with him but then he figured out the root cause and did ended up with success the next cycle. We now have wonderful healthy 9 month old baby boy. I haven't been serviced by this doctor but I don't think I will be either considering the rude and awful women I spoke to over the phone . She was horrible and acted as if I was a problem.

I have nothing but great things to say about Dr Carnovale and his entire staff. I found him to be incredibly kind, caring, and compassionate. I even saw him out and about once and he was kind! He and his entire staff treated us fairly, discussed our treatment plan, and was so careful to get us in the office in a timely manner for appointments. Now that I have moved away from Indianapolis, I'm left really clueless as to who should help me along the journey to get to another baby. We trust definitely trust God and know it's all His doing but, we are certainly glad He orchestrated us to meet Dr. Carnovale to assist us in the journey! As a veterinarian and a practice owner for many years, I know a fair bit about medicine, patient care and good costomer service. My wife and I have been on a 5 year journey in effort to have a child. We have seen many doctors along this path. We saw Dr. Carnovale years ago and we were very impressed. As is often the case, life happened and we moved so we opted to try doctors that were closer. When we experince these other options, not once did we feel like anything beyond a faceless patient. For the past several months we have been working with Dr Carnovale and his staff. We should have never left. This group of outstanding people have been the most competent, caring and professional folks we have ever delt with. We do not yet now how this path will end, but we will never regret our decision to go those extra miles and place our lives back in their care. After going to another office for over a year we switched to Dr Carnovale. His staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The Dr does all the appointments/scans/procedures and we are now pregnant after only one attempt. The Dr is not super chatty or over friendly but I don't need that, I need him to be good at his job. I believe he is. He was professional and efficient & did not slack when it came to putting everything in order for the treatment. Getting a new patient appt did take time so plan ahead

Dr. Carnovale and his staff have been nothing short of amazing to work with. He is honest with you and you can tell he is passionate about what he does. Sarah, Amy, and Jodie are caring, supportive, and happily answer any questions through the entire process. Dr. Boldt and Mary Ellen take the time to update you about your embryos and you can tell everyone is really wanting the same end result you do. I have recommended several friends to his office who have had successful pregnancies, and positive experiences. I would highly recommend, before doing any type of surgery or treatment with Dr. Carnovale, to get a second opinion. The only "solution" he presented was the most expensive treatment option, and after getting a second opinion we feel EXTREMELY mis-led.
