Very attentive and caring! Wonderful explanations and information! Listened about a non related issue that i wasn't even aware there was a solution and was able to take care of that too! Made me feel it was as important to him as it was to me to take care of the pain i was having by diagnosing cause and providing treatment! Clinic so clean and fresh smelling! Very friendly staff! Would definitely recommend!

Dr Black is an excellent choice for your problems with your hands. He is knowledgeable and professional. He jumps right in to begin a course of action. I got some relief at the first appt. The rest of staff are friendly and time efficent.

Dr. Black was wonderful. He listened to me and offered a plan A and a plan B. The only complaint I have is having to wait in the exam room almost a hour before the doctor came in. Don’t schedule my appointment for 1:30 if the doctor isn’t available until 2:20

Very helpful and thorough folks!

Dr. Black is awesome, extremely articulate with description of the issue with my hands and options for procedures. He answered every question I had and helped me to be extremely comfortable with the decision I made. I will highly recommend Dr. Black and Ortho Arkansas.

I liked outside check in and a waiting area that wasn’t crowed My visit went smoothly. Dr Black answered my questions thoroughly. He did a good exam of my hand and I am comfortable with his advice.

I love Dr. Black. He’s easy to get along with, has a sense of humor and a great hand doctor. He fixed my left hand & now helping with my right hand arthritis. Would definitely recommend him!

I first saw Dr. Black after an accidental gunshot wound with a 9mm hollow point, entering my left palm and went up my forearm, destroying my left ulna for 3-4 inches and the ulnar artery was shredded. It was major as E-room doctors in Texas told me it would never heal. Dr. Black took me that day and performed surgery the next. He built a new ulnar artery using a vein and repaired other structures. He had the patience to wait and see how the ulna did, rather than excise the shards and install a prosthesis. It eventually DID grow back together and I am thankful to him for being so talented as well as having a very nice and caring personality. I am also a professional and recognize intelligence in a field, and he definitely has the "it" factor. If he can fix my destroyed arm, he can fix any of the usual conditions that present in his office. I highly recommend him for anything he treats. 10 stars out of 5 above!!

All aspects of the office were excellent! Friendly folks, quick to get in, and fixed a strained muscle in my hand. Would highly recommend them! I was treated by Dr Black and his team.

I saw Dr. Black for a right radius and ulna fracture. From check in to check out, this is one of the most efficiently run doctor’s offices I have ever visited. Every staff member I interacted with was kind and professional. Great visit. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

Dr. Black and Ortho Arkansas have provided excellent care for my hand issues. Dr. Black provided excellent pre-OP testing and consultation, and post-OP follow up. He is genuinely concerned about your condition and takes time to listen and answer your questions. His staff are friendly and return your calls promptly. My visit @ the Benton OrthoArkansas clinic went very smooth. Checked in by the nice lady at the front desk immediately. Taken to the exam room by Katie w/in 5 minutes of entering the building. Dr Black came in w/in just a few minutes for my visit. He listened to and answered all my questions. He asked about my son who had been a patient of his last year which I thought was very nice that he remembered treating my son. I would recommend Dr. Black to anyone and everyone that has any kind of hand, or wrist problem.

Dr. Black is the man!! He is always so polite and understanding and tries to help his patients in anyway he can! He knew how much pain I was in, so he and his staff literally got me in the next day to have a quick and easy trigger finger release! 10/10!!!

I was having issues with pain in both of my wrist, so I called and made an appointment at Ortho Arkansas. I saw Dr. Black and he determined what the cause was and took care of me right there that day. I am so relieved to know that I will be ok and the process of healing has begun. Dr. Black and the Ortho team were all so nice to me.

The best in Arkansas for medical care hands down. Easy to find building, the facility is super clean and all the staff is absolutely great. I’m 49 a Marine have been lots of places but right here in LR is the best care for my medical needs. Very helpful. Willing to take time to discuss options.

Had a very long wait to get in. After we finally got in the building it was great. Everyone seemed happy and friendly. Dr Black spent a lot of time with me . Listened and answered all my questions. Super nice doctor. Very knowledgeable . I would totally recommend Dr Black. Very personable . The rest of the staff were all super nice. My only glitch was the wait outside. Over an hour.

Best staff ever. Quick in and out. Answers all questions and I had plenty. Dr Black made sure I understood everything in detail and took real time explaining it. Couldn’t have been any better before or after surgery.

I came to Dr. Black with pain in my forearm that radiated into my hand. I had 8 weeks of OT that didn't help and had an MRI that showed tendinitis. I was at first told I had tendinosis, but that turned out not to be correct. I was given 3 options, one of which included surgery. I chose surgery but after the MRI results showed tendinits, I was told I wasn't a candidate for surgery. I was then offered the PRP (platelet-rich plasma) procedure to try to heal the affected area. After researching the procedure, I saw that insurance companies don't pay for it and the FDA hasn't approved it. So the procedure is still experimental with no certain results showing it works 100% of the time. So I called back and left a message for someone to call me and told them the reasons I wasn't going to have the procedure done, and why, I said that unless they had another option for me that would work, I'll find another doctor. Nobody has ever called me back. Don't waste your time with this doctor!

Dr. Black is a very adept surgeon. He followed me for three months and I’m very pleased with my outcome. The time he spends with you is comfortable and relaxed, never rushed. His staff is great. They are timely in communicating your needs to the proper people, keep you well informed and always pleasant.

I would recommend Dr Black he very professional and friendly we had a great conversation I highly recommend him, he has a great staff, great atmosphere just all awesome service.

Besides personable, I had an excellent outcome from hand surgery. Felt like I was treated by the best.
