Dr. David E. Anderson

I have been a patient since Dr. Anderson returned to Arkansas years ago after training at the Mayo clinic; a historically important research school in sleep medicine. After my first visit I commented to my wife how much I liked him. I like him even more today after all these years. Dr. Anderson sees all of his patients himself at every visit. He is methodical and interested in thoroughly understanding what his patients experience in sleep. This requires the examination of mountains of information, not just looking at the summaries. He uses this information to help him educate is patients about the serious illnesses he treats. He doesn't say "Do this...", he says "Do this because..." and then takes extra effort to ensure you understand what to do and how to do it successfully. Dr. Anderson is a naturally pleasant and caring individual who will be your partner in combatting your illness. He has always done this using the best medical evidence available. I say these things as somebody who worked as a Registered Respiratory Therapist for many years caring for people with sleep illnesses. I also have experience performing pediatric polysomnograms (sleep studies). David, I like you, I am truly happy you are my doctor, and I'm grateful you are here caring for people in our community. Never doubt you make a difference in peoples lives. If you need a sleep medicine doctor, go to Dr. Anderson. He is the best sleep medicine doctor I've ever had.
