Mr. Darwin L Brown

Mr. Brown is clearly very intelligent. The way his office treats patients and is run is absolutely appalling. I've never been treated so badly. I don't leave reviews, but I'm warning you. Stay away. Intelligent or not, his empathy and emotional maturity are lacking and his office staff have made repeated mistakes over weeks. If you can't empathize and own up to mistakes, like a mature adult. Then you should be doing research. Not negatively impacting the lives of people who go to you for help.

Please don't go to Dr. Brown. He charges additionally fees. He shows discrimination and is condescending with his patients.

He is an arrogant doctor who don’t listen to patients. It’s a shame my daughter tried to explain that she had cramps every time she to her insulin shot. He basically called her a liar, luckily her primary care and intern knew what was going on and referred her to another doctor and she no longer has cramps. This was the most friendly and professional office I've ever encountered. I was a little nervous however they made me feel like family. loooooooooove Dr Brown. Very informative and to the point. Dr. Brown is very easy to talk with and helps me understand my medical issues. He takes his time with me and thoroughly exams me regarding both my Diabetes and Thyroid. I had Thyroid cancer and he now monitors me to make sure it doesn't re-occur. I highly recommend him for Diabetes and/or Thyroid medical needs. Best Doctor!!!

Great office staff. Calming environment. Nice doctors I recommend them.

95%of the front office staff extremely unprofessional. ( The Conyers location is the complete opposite.) They will have full personal conversations with other staff and act as if you are bothering them for visiting the office. Speaking with the staff over the phone is even worse. They do not call to remind you of your appointment but they will call the next day to advise you of a missed appointment and the missed appointment fee. As far as Dr. Brown, he will tell you what you 'should' do but has to be pushed as to your actual test results and options for treatment. He will glance over your chart as he prepares to tell you your concerns are wrong instead of listening to treat the complexity of your issue. In my experience, it's about the getting you in the office to bill for the appointment instead caring for the treatment of the patient. Dr.Brown is an amazing Dr. Well mannered, knowledgeable, and very professional in his practice. If your not on target when you go to him, he'll get you there no games..

I visited this office for possible Diabetes and Thyroid Issue. I got the "Urban speech" I understand certain groups of people have diets that maybe damaging to their health. But scolding patients and talking down to them does not Help. Shaming never does!

Dr. Brown explains things very simple so you can understand what's going on. He makes me feel like i'm his only patient and like we're a team fighting together to make me a healthier person. Bottom line he is the best thyroid doctor. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Very arrogant. Money Hungry. And gives the wrong information. I wouldn't send my dead dog to him! And would give 0 stars if I could!

I just received a referral from my dermatologist to see Darwin Brown. After reading these comments, I'm not so sure I will be making that appointment with Dr. Brown. Seems, his reputation precedes him. I'm glad I googled him.

A 20 min conversation with Dr. Brown reviewing third party test results that my wife brought with her cost $415 (after a $65 discount via our insurance). No prescriptions were made, no tests performed, just a 20 minute consultation at an effective rate of $1,245/hour. I called the office and verified the bill was correct. I'd recommend asking what your bill will be before any services are rendered. I have been going to Dr. Brown for over 10 years now and he is the best! His staff is always kind and helpful.

Dr. Brown is very easy going and explains things very simple so you can understand what's going on. He makes me feel like we are a team fighting together to make me a healthier person and live the right way to control my diabetes. Bottom line is he is a great doctor and I would highly recommend him to anybody.

I was referred to Dr. Brown by my PCP. I did not like his bedside manner. He seemed to be in a rush and didn’t really listen to me.

I have Graves Disease, hair was falling out, lost 50 lbs iin less than one month, and had shortness of breath. I went to Dr. Brown, my hair started growing, no more shortness of breath, and I gained all my weight back. In less than 2 yrs I was treated and will no longer have to take thyroid medicine. His is the best thyroid doctor. His staff is awesome as well.

When it come to his patients they are number one priority to his practice. He will try harder for you to be on point and never give up on patients. I love Dr. office and he will always be my doctor. He is awesome and I am thankful for his help and encouragement.

Dr. Mepani very helpful. Listens to patient Very thorough. Staff polite, helpful at Conyers office. Office building small and a bit crowded. Dr. Mepani has personally called to address a co cern. Dr Brown very helpful and prompt to call when had to call answer service after hours.

Always a pleasant visit with Dr Brown and the staff. Very efficient and nice. You feel like you have been well taken care of.

Great doctor very knowledgeable and his staff are friendly! Dr. Brown is also respectful, funny, and kind he takes away all the nerves when going to see the doctor. I have referred others due to my experience.

I've been going to this office for years! I was originally visiting a different physician in the practice but, I quickly changed to seeing Dr. Brown only. He is knowledgeable, kind, and respectful. He makes my visits a true joy!

I'm very happy with Dr. Brown. He has a busy practice, but I never feel rushed when meeting with him. He explains everything clearly, asks a lot of questions and clearly answers all my questions, and makes me feel relaxed when I'm there. I know I'm getting the best care possible for my diabetes.

I love Dr.Brown. He is a wonderful doctor and in my opinion, the best Endocrinologist around. He listens with intent, and does all he can to make you feel better. He is genuinely concerned and seems to really care. I would recommend him to anyone! Again, he is a wonderful doctor!

I honestly felt helpless and hopeless when I went for my appointment. Staff was patient and friendly. (thanks Jennifer and all) Dr. Brown took a lot of time with me I didn't feel rushed or as an 'inconvenience'. -Took time to educate me about how diabetes affects the body and how it is supposed to work. Listened and answered my concerns. He is friendly and kind. Seems genuinely interested in helping me successfully manage my diabetes and restoring my quality of life.

It was great he had really helped me

Very professional, friendly staff, actually see you on time. You're actually a patient not just a number, the doctor listens and actually calls back. While that never cures our disease, it feels good to know that you're in good hands.

My wife has gone three times for her thyroid and he is not giving her proper treatment. Waste of money and almost a year of her being miserable and having poor quality of life. Will state he will start medication. At next appointment, she goes to that appointment then he questions what the rheumatologist wants to do. He has the notes from that doctor and doesn't bother to read them or communicate with her other specialists doctors that reach out to him. I was initially excited to see Dr. Brown but it quickly turned disappointing in his treatment of me. I have thyroid issues and my thyroid was radiated and I was on medication. It appeared to me that I was gaining weight and when I inquired about it Dr. Brown became irate and said to me that perhaps I should push my plate away and that would help me with my weight. I do understand that perhaps he is right but the situation is so much more than that and I was appalled that this was my doctor's comment to be regarding my condition. I left and have never gone back, recently my thyroid numbers are coming back normal and my new docs are trying to figure out how my thyroid could be normal since I am not on any medication. I have been going to Dr. Darwin Brown for years he is an amazing doctor always takes time to answer your questions and his "bedside manner" is perfect. One of my all time favorite doctors. Spent a lot of time with me answering questions and explaining things to me. Remember details about what we had talked about on later appointments. Often times at med appointments, I feel rushed and like the doctor just wants to get to the next thing, but I felt like Dr. Brown was genuinely interested and present at my appointment. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Office staff is unfriendly. They are more concerned with how they will be paid vs. patient care. Also, Dr Brown is unwilling to provide help with neuropathy pain. There aren't many endo doctors in this area, but I'm willing to change doctors due to uncaring nature of this office.

Dr Brown was so knowledgeable about my condition, diabetes. He explained my medicines and what each one does and how they work together. I have never been taught any of that. He recommended some classes and seemed genuinely concerned about me taking control of my condition.
