Dr. Rohan performed hiatal hernia repair one year ago. Since the surgery I have vomiting, diarrhea, acid reflex, esophageal spasms, Gastro paresis, and a lumbar hernia. When I became ill six weeks after the surgery Dr. Rohan told me that this did not happen after hiatal hernia surgery. Unfortunately it does happen when the Vagus nerve is damaged. I would never recommend Dr. Rohan to do hiatal hernia surgery. His staff however is very friendly. I am now facing procedures to attempt to correct all of the problems caused by this surgery.

Prior to surgery Dr. Rohan Explained the procedure throughly And patiently. He came to see me in the hospital less than 24hrs after surgery answered all my questions in a simple non complicated way. I also felt he worked with my doctors as a team. Great experience considering we’re talking about lung surgery.

This was my wife's first visit to Dr. Rohan and was arranged to explore possible treatments for a 2 cm. spot on her lung. Dr. Rohan was direct, but gentle as he presented a range of options and follow ups. In the end we all agreed on a conservative approach: a repeat CT scan after 3 months. There was no rush to do surgery; none whatsoever. He relieved my wife's anxiety and he answered all of our questions patiently and completely. His PA, Katie, and office front woman, Kimberly, were great

Stent surgery was unsuccessful due to lack of post surgery direction. No mention on post surgery patient file regarding FPO (nothing by mouth) resulted in patient swallowing stent and tear in esophagus. Poor prognosis.
