Dr. Darrell Jonathan Fader

Personable and professional - both Dr. Fader and his entire staff. I've been to several dermatologists in the city over the years (and was always unimpressed) - my search ended here :)

I was really impressed with Dr. Fader and his staff. They were very good at explaining exactly what to expect before, during and after surgery. Dr. Fader called a few hours after the surgery to see how I was doing, and is always accessible should there be any problems. I’d highly recommend them.

3 years ago I had a basil cell carcinoma on the bridge of my nose. My dermatologist suggested and scheduled me with Dr. Fader. After the procedure I was certain I would have a terrible scar and it did take time to heal. There is no scar. I should have reported my excellent results in a review long ago.

Mohs surgery to remove basal cell carcinoma on upper lip. Excellent job. Also removed a basal cell carcinoma very near the eye for my wife a few years ago.

Dr Fader was excellent! He was personal and friendly, took time to explain to me what the cancer was and how we would treat it. His office staff was great helping us with any questions and scheduling concerns. The medical assistant was relaxed and very skilled. All around good experience! I had a small area of skin removed on my leg. The direction of the incision was chosen nicely, and the scar is very minimal. Other dermatologists who have seen it have commented that the surgery was performed well.

I had cancer near my nose, I thought Dr. Fader may not want to close it in lieu of the better scar that could be left if a plastic surgeon closed it instead. Worst case was to have the MOHs late Friday and then have to wait until Monday to line up a closure appointment days after that. Dr. Fader assured me this would not happen so I had went ahead only to have my worst fears play out. When I finally had it closed a week later they made it much larger so it would heal, leaving a horrible scar!!!
