Not a good dr, condescending to my parents. Prescribed medicine my mother was already taking. Got a new dr for her and took her off 4 of the 13 meds he had her on. He’s also weaning her off some of the the 4 blood pressure meds he had her on. I would take her there when she wasnt feeling good, he asked her “what do you want me to do“? I sugested blood work, he asked us “what do you want to check for“? I asked to check all her levels and maybe for infection, turns out she had Ecoli infection. Then without warning he dropped his patients . I would not recomend him.

I have never, ever been made to feel so terrible about myself by anyone in my 47 years on earth as this “doctor” made me feel. I went to him for a medical issue and he was quite literally nasty to me. Laughing at me- to my face and belittling me. It is a good thing I am an advocate for myself and I did not let him break me down. I left and found a doctor who was willing to help me get healthy. If I had been a person easily defeated, this would have likely had a very different ending. He shouldn’t be a doctor. To make matters worse, he added blatant lies about me to my online file- making the claim that these things were comments that I made to him. People believe the doctor by default. But they are human. And there is certainly bad ones who shouldn’t be in the profession. He’s at the top of this list. Avoid him like the plague if you respect yourself and you want to be healthy. It has taken me eight years to even write this because this visit was so upsetting due to his actions, that I didn’t even want to face the emotions it stirs up to have to write this. This was a very damaging visit. And it was my 6th or 7th time to see him. I gave him plenty of chances to be the good doctor I had hoped. But 8 years later, I’m strong and healthy and ready to tell this story about the dark souled suburban doctor who likes to belittle women who come to him for help. I do hope it helps someone considering remaining his patient or looking for a doctor and considering him.

Dr Maccoux has been my doctor for 17 years. He also sees my parents and treats them like his own parents. I now live across the country and it is such a blessing to have them under his care. I am so thankful for his excellent care! He is the best doctor I have ever encountered (and I have encountered many).

This doctor did not listen to my concerns, and was busy talking over me- he seemed very impatient.. On my initial visit, he did not follow through on what he said he would do; as well as costly tests being ordered that I don't believe were necessary. So the trust factor was lost. I feel he was quite arrogant/rude to me throughout my first, and only visit. I will not be going back to him, nor would I recommend him to family or friends.

It seems that this doctor makes a lot of mistakes with a persons health and gets very angry at times. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. He needs to keep his temper intact at times.
