On December 15th 2018 I almost had my right arm ripped off bellow the elbow, a loss of 80% of muscle and only one tendon was left intact. Thanks to Dr. Conaway my hand is functional. She was able to reattach one tendon to all four fingers and I can grip a coffee cup. She is absolutely amazing and definitely would recommend her to friends and family. And let not forget the hand therapist ON SITE! Maritza, Karen, and Alison are all a pleasure to work with and I wouldn't be where I'm at if not for all their hard work. Thank you very much!! I have had several hand surgeries and treatment with Dr. Conaway. She is a good listener, straightforward, efficient, has a wry sense of humor, is clear in her communication, and my outcomes have been very good. Unfortunately, it is not the same with some of her staff, who could benefit from closer emulation of Dr. Conaway's clinical demeanor. A person I just spoke with on the phone cut me off after a couple of words; each time I tried to finish my simple question about scheduling a procedure, she would talk over me and when I was finally able to finish the question after her interruptions, she did not answer it.

I don't know how waiting 5wks to see a doctor when you have numb fingers 24/7. is a good thing. But what do I know ? I guess the health care system is broke....
