Dr. Daniel L Wiernik

He addressed my problem with both of my feet and took care of the problem. I’ve been seeing Dr. Wiernik for 22 years and I will continue to see him for all my feet ailments and surgeries in the future. Great physician!

Since I work in the medical field, I have the benefit of knowing a lot of doctors in many specialties, so when I developed plantar fasciitis, Dr Wiernik was the Doc I selected. I can't recommend a better guy to treat your lower extremities for whatever ails them! Thanks for keeping me walking when my dogs are a-barking!

I have been a patient of Dr. Wiernik for a number of years. He is professional, knowledgeable, and an excellent podiatrist, specializing in foot and ankle issues or issues below the knee. He has been a huge help with my numerous stress fractures in my feet, caused by thinning bone. He also treated my daughter-in-law when she fractured her leg. She healed without complications. I highly recommend him and his expertise.

The attention and care were very good Dr Wiernik explained and gave me the recommendations to use different shoes for my health condition. I liked the Dr and nurse because they treatment me very professionals.

I broke my ankle while on a cruise in Feb. I went to Orlando Orthopedic Center for surgery and my care. Dr. Wiernik and his staff are fantastic and friendly! I was always treated with kindness, never waited long and my questions were always answered. Dr. Wiernik talks to you like a friend. I don't have insurance, yet I was never treated disdainfully because of it. In fact, I was given discounts for paying up front for my surgery and fracture care. I was treated respectfully at all times. I felt like the office staff and Dr Wiernik went above and beyond in their care and concern over me both physically and financially. Example: he told me to buy my fracture boot off Amazon to save money. He always took the time to listen and give advice and info on the next stage of my recovery. Gail was extremely helpful with making appts, back to work notes and correcting a billing error for me. The whole staff gets an A+!

Dr. Wiernik is the worse! He never listens to me and rushes me out!! I’m Kidding!!! Lol! Great guy! Always give me great advice on how to heal and take care of my foot! We also have good regular conversation too, that makes you feel more at ease from the reason you are there! His assistant Is great too!!

Over 6 months with tendonitis on both feet, getting no were with another Dr. and therapy, until I had an appointment and show me and exercise that nobody mentioned before, and it is working. Not abusing the system and taking advantage of the insurance, RECOMMENDED

Quick and efficient

A simple solution that worked to a very common, but painful and annoying problem. I avoided the knife.

I've only been seen by this doctor once, but I have a couple great things to say about this doctor and this specific office! First off, Dr. Wiernik is one of the very few doctors I've been to in many years that was on time with my appointment time! I arrived about 15-mins. before my appointment, was called into the back about 5mins. before my appointment and only sat in the exam room about 7-8mins. Dr. Wiernik and his staff are very professional, organized, and personable, detail oriented, and thorough! Additionally, he did not rush my appointment with him...and he really listened to me when I was explaining what happened and how I am feeling. Thank You Dr. Wiernik and all your staff!

Disappointed. 4 months + of pain and swelling after a break only to be told it’s normal every time… never looked at my foot only via X-ray. Only showed me the X-rays after requesting. X-ray… normal… see you next month. :(

Every single person I dealt with at the Lake Mary location was friendly and professional. I had 3 visits for my injury and was called in for my appointment within 5 mins of the scheduled time on each visit. To me it means that this friendly staff is also super organized with excellent time management skills to enable this to happen. I highly recommend this office and Dr. Weirnik.

I’ve had excellent experience with Dr. Wiernik. Very precise with his diagnosis and with my after care. The staff has been wonderful, very professional and very helpful. It has been a beautiful relationship with the staff and Dr. Wiernik.

The doctor explained in full detail the extent of my injury, the period of time for healing, and what to expect by following his recommendations.

Thoughtful and through

Dr Wiernik sat and listened to my explanation of the injury history and pain management used prior to the office visit. He provided treatment options and allowed for my input. Great doctor.

I appreciated that I spent very little time in the waiting room. I was called back within 5 minutes at each of my four appointments. Dr. Wiernik was prompt coming in to the exam room. He explained what was on the X-ray and what I needed to do before the next visit. I would come back to this facility and Dr. Wiernick if I have a future orthopedic issue.

My regular othopaedist, in another practice, was out of town. Orlando Orthopaedic got me an appointment wih Dr. Wiernik on very short notice, as I was scheduled to leave the country. The doctor gave me excellent treatment and relief from my pain. I cannot give a higher rating for the care, for which I am very grateful

After seeing Dr. Wiernik the first time I knew I was in the right place. Leading up to the surgery the staff made sure I was on page with the requirements for surgery. After the surgery I recieved a call everyday sometimes two times a day just to check on my status. This office was awesome and exceeded every expec.

Dr. Wiernik has done three surgeries on my right foot. Each time he took the time to explain in detail what was going to happen. He has an incredible bedside manner. His staff is friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend him.

I have heard horror stories about bunion surgery, but Dr. Wiernik must have a special talent. I felt very little pain and I am recovering nicely.

The check-in process was very easy and very responsibly done, in order to minimize contact with others and properly social distance. Plenty of precautions were taken such as taking my temperature before entering the office, and making sure every patient used a different pen to fill out forms.
