I can't say enough good things about Dr. Wayman !

He is very professional and very good at what he does. His assistant Cindi is a joy and incredibly knowledgeable. I just love all of the staff. Dr. Wayman listens to how I feel and what I want. Then we discuss the possibilities. He is fabulous. I could go on… but really, a great practice!

My husband and l have always received the highest treatment from Dr Wayman&his assistant Cindi. They are also encouraging, friendly, personable, very compassionate etc. Always prompt. I've seen Dr. Wayman several times these last few years. He has removed several skin cancers from me in various locations and he has done reconstruction skin grafts on my nose a couple of times. He is incredibly skilled. He and his entire staff are absolutely excellent. I'd give them 10 stars if I could. I've never had a long wait time and the results of their work has always been fantastic. I'd never hesitate to trust these people with my health care. Skin cancer removal is never fun, but their skill, compassion and professional approach make it the best experience possible under the circumstances. Health care doesn't get any better than Southern Oregon Ear Nose Throat.

I have a pretty significant history of skin cancer and see a dermatologist on a regular basis. Upon seeing a suspicious area on my left ear, my dermatologist referred me to Dr. Wayman. By way of background, this is not my first rodeo with skin cancer on or near my ears. I have had various problem-spots removed and even suffered through a Mose (sp?) procedure by another doctor that left me pretty unhappy with the results. Needless to say, I was a bit nervous about what Round 2 would bring, and seeing Dr. Wayman for the first time. After the requisite testing, the results were clear: my ear was a disaster. It was riddled with Basal Cell carcinoma. The following day, Dr. Wayman performed the necessary surgery and I am on the mend. For the purpose of this review, I’d like to first comment on the front office staff. From the very beginning, I found them both to be most welcoming and sympathetic to what I was facing. Simply put, they treated me as though they had known me forever and considered me a friend. Cindy, a long time assistant to Dr. Wayman was the best. She is firm but incredibly caring and again, treated me like a valued friend. Thanks Cindy. Finally, Dr. Wayman is an incredibly skilled surgeon and I am thrilled with the results. He has an open, honest way about him that I found very refreshing. I even received a well-intentioned scolding from him. I sorely wish that had known about him and his staff the first time around. Best Doctor experiences I have had. Staff was also excellent

Great guy!

Dr. Wayman is great! He is a excellent surgeon. I went to him after I could no longer breath through my nose which was broken at age 15 playing sports. I was in my late sixties when I finally had enough and made my appointment with Dr. Wayman. What he found after examining me was extensive damage from my broken nose, There was bone growth blocking off my ability to breathe, plus sinus problem. With the three problems corrected perfectly by surgery, it has been around ten years since. I haven’t had one problem with my nose. Dr. Wayman is great! He is a excellent surgeon. I highly recommend Dr. Wayman. I went to him a year ago for removal of a growth in one of my nostrils. He was efficient and friendly and the results of the procedure went well. His office staff was also pleasant and efficient. Just recently (Feb. 2020), I had another nose problem that I was worried about. I called the office with my concerns about the new growth, and the office person immediately fit me into the doctor's schedule for the next week. I went in for another procedure, and was again treated efficiently and with a pleasant attitude. I give Dr. Wayman my highest recommendation. (I had read unflattering comments in other reviews, so I was worried the first time I went to the office. Over a year's time, with two visits that necessitated in-office surgical growth removals, I now can personally pass on my own experience. Five stars (if they have stars for this review!)

We just spent 20 minutes talking with Cindy on the phone. She was very helpful, professional and kind, answered all our questions fully. I would recommend this office highly.

Called to check on a referral for my daughter to have her tonsils removed and was mistreated by the receptionist. She was short tempered and rude treating me like I was misinformed and stating my daughter was not in the system, I let her know Dr. Wayman had already performed surgery on my daughter once, 7 months ago. She then raised her voice in an effort to speak over me, saying there is no way our insurance would have covered what we had done and what we were needing done. I asked to speak to someone else because I felt mistreated and she proceeded to tell me she was the office manager and has highest authority there. I hung up. I called my daughters pediatrician and they sent a referral to a different office. I will never go to Dr. Waymans office due to his staff. I have always had excellent care and professional service from not only the doctor but all of his staff. Totally cannot understand anyone giving this great doctor one star and bad review.

I've seen Dr. Wayman every couple of years for ear care and each time was very impressed with his kindness and excellent care! His staff was also very friendly.

I was never allowed to see Dr. Wayman after waiting more than 3 months trying to get an appt. from the office manager Cindy. She is horribly rude. You take your chances going there.

Both Dr. Wayman and his staff were friendly and warm. The procedure Dr. Wayman performed on me was done very smoothly and effectively. The office is a small one, and may seem crowded from time to time, but it seems well managed to me. I am amazed at how negative some of these reviews are. I had some reservations about coming in to see him, which was a shame because the level of care I received was very fine.

I had recent squamous cell carcinoma surgery. All aspects of the procedure were excellent. Contrary to some earlier reviews, the front office staff was friendly, courteous and professional. Appointments were timely and waiting was minimal. Surgery went well and I am completely satisfied and highly recommend Dr. Wayman and his staff.

The office manager could not have been more rude on the phone. She needs reminding that patients have their own challenges in life and need to be treated with kindness and respect.

The staff is completely rude! Called my cell phone to see where we where 5 mins from having to be there. Walked into 2 ladies who where Completely rude. They acted like I was late and causing a huge inconvenience as they rummaging through patient files as trying to help me. Very unprofessional!!!! Highly NOT recommend place to go!!!

RECOMMEND YOU AVOID THE OFFICE OF DR. DANIEL WAYMAN I found Dr. Wayman to be grumpy and burned out. My questions seemed to annoy him and his attitude was, "The pictures show you're a candidate for the surgery, I can do it or I can not do it, why do you have to ask me questions." I was willing to overlook this because I was referred to him and I thought he must be competent. When I went to schedule the surgery, I couldn't even get a date because Dr. Wayman had not set his dates for the month I wanted and they couldn't ask him because he was out hunting or skiing or fishing or who knows what. They told me they would call me soon. When I didn't get a call after two weeks, I decided to go to another doctor. The new doctor asked Dr. Wayman for my records two weeks ahead of my appointment, and Dr. Wayman's office didn't provide them. They had to call Dr. Wayman to get them to honor the request. I have tubes in both ears and have been seeing Dr. Wayman for about ten years. My wife and I were getting ready to fly on vacation and I developed a problem in one of my ears. I called to make an appointment with Dr. Wayman and was told he was gone for two weeks. I had to have my ear looked at before flying so I went to another Doctor who confirmed the tube had come out and replaced it. After vacation, I made an appointment with Dr. Wayman for a check up. I was the first appointment after lunch at 1:30. By 2:00 no one had come in to check on me. I went out and asked if the doctor was even here. The office manager said he was at the hospital. I told her it would have been nice if someone had told me. She then said the doctor had just arrived and would be right in. She left and came back only to tell me Dr. Wayman would not see me because I had chosen to see another doctor. I said it wasn't a choice. Dr. Wayman was out of the office. She again said because I had seen another doctor he would no longer see me as a patient! I drove 1 1/2 hours to my appointment, was kept waiting a half hour only to be told he would no longer see me because I had seen another doctor. Was I suppose to wait until he returned? After ten years of being a patient to be disrespected like that was stunning. His staff didn't seem to understand why I would be upset. The office manager was rude and unprofessional. Unprofessional and rude. Typically wait for a very long time before being seen. Dropped me as a patient because I had an emergency while he was on a two week vacation and went to another ENT. At my next checkup I was kept waiting for half an hour only to have the office manager come in and tell me Dr. Wayman would not see me because I chose to see another doctor. It wasn't a choice - Dr. Wayman wasn't available. Even though I explained it made no difference. Unbelievable! Stay away!

This is about Dr. Wayman's staff NOT the Doctor. The staff with the 1 exception of Amanda made this one of the worst medical experiences I've ever had. Kayla & the office manager Cindi were rude and condescending and shared my private medical information violating my Hippa rights. They said because I was on Oregon Health Plan they were doing me a favor to even see me. They made a mistake about my medication and without even talking to me 1st lied to my primary doctor completely humiliating me.

This was one of the best experiences at a medical office I've ever had. The office staff was friendly and made me feel welcome. They all worked together as a team and seemed to be enjoying themselves. Dr. Wayman was very professional, as was his nurse. I would highly recommend this office.

Rude office staff, long wait times, overall unpleasant experience with this office

I recently had nose surgery utilizing Dr. Wayman as my ENT surgeon. From the start he was friendly, kept me informed throughout, followed up with me in timely manners, and was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. I would highly recommend him to anyone with ENT issues.

As a spouse of your patient I was extremely disappointed in your front office staff. I work in a medical office and we pride ourselves on how we try to make each person that enters our office feel welcome. Your front office staff failed miserably and I was there from 3-6:10pm Your office temp was also too cold for the waiting room. I know I sound petty but I finally sat outside your office on the bench and was warmer

Horrible, I took my daughter in who is autistic he was not nice at all did not explain what he was doing so that freaked her out, when i told him to take his time and explain to her he got mad at me.
