Numerous back surgeries, including fusion has left me with damage and chronic pain. Sometimes, I wake up writhing in pain and can't walk. I've been going to chiropractors since I was a teenager. Dr. Tenney is a jewel, the best chiropractor I have found. I am so grateful for him. He has pulled me out of numerous crises. I was told by a surgeon years ago that I needed emergency surgery. Instead, I overcame my fears and went to Dr. Tenney. After he worked on me several times, my MRI showed that the disks were going back into place. I couldn't handle another surgery. I lean towards chiropractic because I already know what the doctors will say. If you have serious problems, he is the remedy. Not only is he a great chiropractor, he is really nice. I have high anxiety when it comes to my back and his calming nature is helpful. I don't know what I would do without him. I was raised in Grand County however I don't live up here anymore, I used to use Dr. Tenney in my high school years (2011 grad mphs). From the experience my friends and myself have had... at the end of every visit he just wants to get you in again and sign you up as a contract patient. There's more concern for setting up recurring business (income) for rather than helping you feel better. Shaw in downtown Granby and Dr. Gibson in Aspen Park are much more thorough and actually concerned with finding the problem rather than setting up a new contract with a patient. I've been to Tenny about 6 times.... I hardly ever write reviews but I feel like this is one was necessary... Don't waste your time or money here. Seemed more like he wants to make regular (2-3x per week) cash customers than to help heal patients. I kept asking if I should get an MRI bc I wasn’t getting better and he kept saying no, unless I wanted to waste a bunch of money to have them tell me what he’s been telling me. & that I just needed to keep seeing him. Luckily I followed my gut and got an MRI. I just had a discectomy 2 days ago for a severely herniated disc. This is the kind of chiropractors that give other chiropractors such bad names. Dr Tenney is wonderful at what he does! He is also great with children.
