Mr. Daniel Thomas Poole

I have a service-connected disability from the military for migraines, I have been to him for over 10 years. Always liked him, until I overheard him tell his medical student that, "I really don't think her migraines are that bad, ya know. But hey, what do I know?" I think he forgot he had left the door open. I got up out of chair, let him know how unprofessional he was, and his comment was extremely unnecessary. I walked right out of the door and I will never return. I am an RN, and have dealt with him professionally for neuro consults that had been placed. Maybe he should just come to my house and see me with migraines, I'll make him eat that rude comment of his. What an arrogant, pompous man.

Very beautiful and wonderful people the doctor was a very nice man doctor Poole and talk to me and answered all my questions and told me more of what I did not know very good doctor

Office Staff have the has the worst attitudes I ever seen in my life. Very nasty group of people.

My husband was referred to Dr. Poole and were informed over the phone that there was nothing that the doctor could do for him. I couldn't believe that they would turn a patient away without even giving them an appointment to evaluate his concerns. We were referred to a Neurosurgeon by his primary care and when she found out that he was turned away she couldn't believe it. She immediately said he needed to be seen by a neurologist. He has since been referred and given an appointment for a neurologist in Greenville. Patient care should always come first. You are at their convenience sadly.

Absolutely disgusting. Receptionist hung up the phone on me. Been trying to make an appointment for a month and finally got through and she hung up the phone before I could make an appointment. Disgusting way to treat patients.

Tried to make an appointment here. I was hung up on multiple times. After i made an appointment they finally call back a week and a half later. Just goto Jacksonville or Wilmington. At least they don't make covid an excuse to be lazy and not answer the phone. This place isn't worth the trouble.

This star is based off of my Aunts visit. She has complaints of rude staff and nurse. She also mentioned that the doctor rushed the visit. She explained that when she tried to answer the nurses questions the nurse kept rudely interupting. She only wanted to leave a message for the doc and schedule an important appointment. Unfortunately she wasn't able to properly inform the doc of purpose for visit. Her and my Uncle sat in the lobby for two hours. They watched the employees gossip and eat lunch. Eventually after waiting she left, it was only when she was about to leave that one of the employees asked if she was leaving. Her and my uncle's entire experience was the most horrific ever. Dr. Pool and his staff are so good....they take the time to answer patients questions without trying to hurry to get out the room... and really cares about his patients....

He & his staff are unorganized ! Horrible with time management with important paper work his patients needs.

He’s fantastic! Dr. Poole is honest, smart, helpful, and funny! I am always so comfortable when I go to the doctors office there as the entire staff is so polite. Dr.poole listens to my concerns intently, he never judges, and he gives his medical and personal advice. I went to an appointment with my newborn who I was nursing and dr. Poole offered me the room once my appointment was done so I could nurse my child. He and his staff are excellent! He’s fantastic! Dr. Poole is honest, smart, helpful, and funny! I have been a patient of Dr. Poole's for 10 years now. He is not only a wonderful doctor, he is a very nice person. His nurse staff has always been kind to me. I see him several times a year for a chronic illness. I often brag about him being my doctor and have never met a person that did not like him. I have always been on time for my appointments, or I have rescheduled in advance, so I can't comment on that. I also want to be told if a doctor can't help me so I can move on.

Save your time money and health and just find another nerologist...immediately...seriously. What board certified doctor refuses care to a recent stroke patient after they've already waited over 60 days due to a mild / 2 minute tardiness...newsflash sometimes you dont move as fast after a stroke. Finding another doctor just might save your life. That's my plan. What a rude, disrespectful bunch of so called caregivers and administrative staff at Eastern Medical Associates. Disgusting customer svc.

I saw him for a chronic migraine problem. He tried steroids and then said he didn't know what to do for me and that I'd have to live with it. This was after he spent about 5 minutes scolding me about cancelling a previous appointment. It took over a month and a half to get an appointment with him after I had been to the ER twice with this headache. I will never see this doctor of my own free will and I recommend anyone else find another neurologist because as far as I am concerned, he is useless

I have been seeing Dr. Poole for app. 7 years now. He is a fantastic Doctor with a great sense of humor and he cares about his patients. When my partner died last year, his office and staff sent a card that brought tears to my eyes. I had to change Doctors this month, and called them first. Within 20 minutes, I had an appointment with PA Jumpa for yesterday. When she came in, I felt like I was seeing an old friend again. You certainly don't get that everywhere you go. The office, from front desk on is absolutely fantastic. You are greeted with a big smile and hello from Christy or whoever else is at the window, then the nurse and a goodbye when you leave. I wish all the Doctors would take a lesson from Eastern Medical Associates and Dr. Poole, they would benefit greatly from it. I have been seeing Dr. Poole for app. 7 years now.
