All I can say is a perfect experience from start to finish. Very professional and caring. Never felt a thing and the doctor and staff are the best.

Dr Nielson has performed 2 tooth extractions over the past year. Both extractions were nearly painless and as comfortable as could be expected. Very patient and took time to explain the process.

I absolutely love that Dr. Nielson walked in and treated me like a new friend as a guest in his home, instead of a stranger that hadn't taken care of myself and now needed his education to remove a part of my body. He calmed my nerves by being clear on his plan, then talking through the process. I had ZERO discomfort or pain. I highly recommend Dr. Nielson and his team.

This was the second tooth I have had removed at this office and couldn’t be more satisfied.

When you are laying there with your mouth open, you don't want to have doubts about your choice of surgeons. You can rest assured that you made the right choice, if you chose Dr. Dan.

Dr Nielson was both knowledgeable and kind. We never felt rushed and his staff was friendly and professionally.

Wow! A skilled surgeon with excellent bed-side manners explaining procedure details and putting me at ease. Each staff member was equally superb. Couldn't ask to anything more. Thanks to all!

Dr. Nielson has a very upbeat personality and sense of humor that put me at ease immediately. He gave an excellent block and I felt no pain. He is very skilled and experienced. He even called me that evening after the procedure to see how I was doing. He's the best!

Dr. Dan and his staff is excellent. I absolutely dislike going to the dentist for a regular cleaning, so having to go to a specialist to get a tooth pulled was definitely out of my comfort zone. From the moment I walked in the receptionist was very friendly and welcoming and praised everyone working there. I think she sensed my nervousness. The staff helping Dr. Dan were friendly and included me in the conversation they were having and asked me questions about my family. Dr Dan made sure I was completely numb and except for a bit of pulling I felt nothing. I actually thought he was still working on removing my cap when in reality he had already pulled my tooth. Very quick and painless. He followed up with a phone call later in the evening to see how I was doing. Absolutely one of the best visits to a specialist I've ever been to.

Dr. Nielson is the best oral surgeon I have ever had. I had all my upper teeth pulled and have had little or no pain. He and his office personnel are very professional, thorough and efficient. He truly cares about his patients. He make a personal call every evening of the procedure to check on your progress. I would highly recommend his services.

Dr Neilson was very friendly and professional yet personable. My daughter was evaluated to have her wisdom teeth extracted. The procedure was explained. Her current x-rays which were taken in office, were reviewed with us and it was decided we would wait a year and reevaluate. Dr Neilson came highly recommended and I agree.

This Dr is amazing. I was anxious about having all my wisdom teeth out, but the staff did an incredible job. They made me as comfortable as possible. The nurses comforted me while I was getting my IV and sedative. They were fast and did great. I had little pain and the numbing lasted all day. He even called to make sure I was still doing okay the night of my extractions. Great experience. They genuinely care. They’re friendly, hygienic, and efficient. I’d highly recommend.

I had a great experience but was expecting that before the appointment. My expectations were met and exceeded. I even received a call from Dr. Nielson the evening of my extraction to make sure I had no questions and checking on how I was feeling.

The doctor was friendly. Billing was an issue. They got an estimate from my insurance company & I paid that amount the day of service. After the surgery I got an additional bill for more than the amount I already paid. So I was paying more than double the estimated amount. My insurance company did make an error on the first Explanation of Benefits. They did submit a corrected EOB. This office refused to honor the allowable amount by insurance. This is very odd in healthcare.

Staff was so friendly! Dr. Nielson was comforting and caring. I highly recommend!

Dr. Wood actually performed the wisdom tooth procedure for my daughter. The patient care was better than excellent. The office is very efficient and the whole staff that supported my daughter was top notch! We would absolutely recommend this practice!! We are so very grateful Dr. Nick Prater referred us to Great Plains!!

I have never been more impressed with or pleased with a dental appointment. Dr. Nielson and his staff made me feel comfortable and quite confident in the skill set and procedures being done. They explained things very well, leaving not doubt that I could trust them. They used the latest techniques and methodologies. Dr. Nielson himself is just so very personable and upbeat! I would go back to him for sure and very highly recommend him to others!

Great friendly atmosphere. Assistants were very comforting especially when a procedure is not what you are looking forward to! Very informative and helpful with recovery. Dan is awesome! Talked the whole procedure to keep me calm. Both my kids have been here to get their wisdom teeth out and I would recomend him to everyone!
