Dr. Murillo did my kidney transplant in 2007. He is fantastic! Unfortunately he left Research Medical Center in 2019. For those looking for him he is currently at KU Medical Center doing transplants.
I received my transplant of Kid/Panc May 22, 2009. last visit June 6, 2019. On June 25, 2019, received a letter from Research Hospital that "he had suddenly departed!" No explanation, nothing. I have found he has communicated with another doctor there, since his departure. Other doctors, my kidney specialist have been unable to find where he has gone or what happened. All VERY SECRETIVE. During the last visit, he agreed to do a repair of a small rupture near the transplant site opening but said I could have it done locally if I wished. (I am located 225 mi from Research Hosp) His departure seemed unplanned at that point. I trust this man completely with my surgical work and AM DEEPLY OFFENDED THAT RESEARCH SEEMS TO THINK WE WHO ALLOWED HIS WORK ON US DO NOT HAVE A CHANCE TO CONTINUE TO SEEK HIS ASSISTANCE! I am in the process of having all my medical records transferred from Research Medical Center, KC Mo. and I am through with them as a patient! Dr. Murillo, I am looking for you.

Dr. Murillo saved my life with a perfect kidney transplant in 2009. Pam, Kady, Deb, Nicole all work for him and they are Angels here on earth. If you are losing your kidneys call Dr. Daniel Murillo.
