Dr. Mountcastle is one of the most caring, skilled and competent doctors on my health team. I wish there were more like him!

Dr. Mountcastle eased my worries about taking care of a lesion on my leg. After visits with many other 'specialists,' he knew how to treat me. What a relief! I highly recommend Mountcastle Vein Centers! :)

I experienced a great deal of pain following my procedure. When I visited the pharmacy on a Saturday night to pick up some much needed pain meds that were to have been phoned in for me, I found that Dr. had never called them in. When I called the numbers given to me on my post-procedure paperwork, it took 13 hrs for Dr. to call me back and explain why there were no meds at the pharmacy. No excuse for this! I think this Dr. is absentminded, disorganized, past his prime, & not performing at 100%.

Dr. Mountcastle is a really great doc.... Knowledgeable and very trustworthy. I've recommended to my family.

Dr. Mountcastle told me that my ultrasound was good and I could have sclerotherapy, I was told they would perform laser therapy. My next visit I was taken into a room, given another test, put on an operating table and a ambulatory phlebectomy was performed. I had to pay $810, and told insurance didn't cover it. I changed Vein Centers and the bottom line is I have Venous Insufficiency, Medicare pays for it, and I require seven laser surgeries.

This Doctor appeared disheveled. His coat was dirty. He had not shaved that morning. This was a second opinion of three I was seeking regarding my legs. His opinion was completely out of line with the other two vein centers I had visited. He was very pushy to get me to undergo laser treatment telling me that it was detrimental where the others agreed it was not necessary and would only yield cosmetic results.
