Worst doctor ever, took him a year after monthly uti to give me antibiotics which had then progressed to two antibiotics everyday iv for 6 weeks and now 6 months later after the antibiotics the iv antibiotics fixed it, I have another uti with different bacteria and he refused to give me antibiotics and told my primary care not to give me any. What is up with that, I have pretty severe uti and it needs treatment. Dont see this man, he doesnt believe in research or probiotics. He is in the dark ages.

If you are on Medicaid or other Government assistance like I am and instructed to follow up with this Dr, I'm sorry, you will most likely be treated poorly also. I was unfortunately scheduled with Dr Monkowski for a follow up after an extensive stay at Poudre Valley Hospital. As I was I'll, my Mother flew in from FL to give me a ride to this appointment. Not a single employee informed me that this Drs office was in another town and when I realized I called the office to let them know I was running behind. The front desk employee told me of their ten minute rule and that it would be COMPLETELY up to the DR if I was seen. I understand with so many I'll and how busy medical staff is and needing to have a ten minute rule but I politely called before and was turned away for being 8 minutes late. The front desk employee told me of their ten minute rule and that it would be COMPLETELY up to the DR if I was seen. I understand with so many I'll and how busy medical staff is and needing to have a ten minute rule but I politely called before I was late and coming in from out of town not just some rude ass who doesn't call and shows up 20 minutes late without any regard. When my Mother and I arrived at the office park, it took us AT LEAST five minutes in the parking lot trying to find the right place because not a single one had an address or numbers on the building to follow. When my Mother found it I ran out of air running with my oxygen tank out of fear we would not meet this ridiculous deadline. Out of breath and sure the Dr would see me since I only needed five minutes to get my labs read, I WAS TURNED AWAY FOR BEING 8 MINUTES LATE! Oh no, this gets so much worse. I had let the front desk employee know that my PICC lines were not working and could not get them fixed without an order put in. If you don't know, this means that the IV lines placed in my arm were clogged. The IV lines that my home health nurse uses to give meds everyday as well as pull blood for labs, was clogged and not working. The employee left for a brief moment to only return with the same answer saying the Dr was too busy today to see me! There litterally was not a single other person in the waiting room. It is a good thing my Mother was there because I knew I had to contain my anger and now disgust! My rescheduled appointment was a week away and I had to wait for an hour and a half each time at the UCHealth labs to get stuck by a needle to get blood due to my PICC lines being clogged! My boyfriend had to take off work the following week to take me to my rescheduled appointment which we cannot afford on one income. We were there on time and when checked in we were brought back to an exam room pretty close to my scheduled appointment time HOWEVER once in the exam room we waited over 30 minutes to see someone. Already frustrated obviously, I pointed out the wait time and nothing like even a forced or fake apology happened. Dr Monkowski LITTERALLY SPENT FOUR MINUTES WITH US after turning me away 8 minutes late the week before! . He said my labs looked good and there was nothing more to discuss. I had mentioned some health concerns with my heart and this #_$&+(_# Dr said " that's not really my area, you will have to talk to someone else"!!!! The Dr as well as the front desk nurse both could tell our utter disappointment and let them know we would never be back! Still zero apologies were made. This office is rude, inconsiderate and just a waist of your time. Steer Clear of Monkowski if you can!!!
