Phenomenal experience, I have had the worst experiences with my autistic 3year old at doctors offices. This man came in spent the most time with us any doctor has ever spent with us. Interactions with our boy was so intuitive. His jokes, o man one of those things everyone should experience. He Answered all our questions, made us feel actually listened to, comfortable, and was very clear spoke as he notated what he observed. I wish that he did primary pediatrics, I'd move all my children to him. Restored my faith in a failing medical system ???? ???? I would never recommend this doctor for anyone with autism or trying to find out if they have autism. He was very rude and very judge mental. Does not care uses very vulgar language and talks about improper things. Tried to teach my son a rendition of "if you're happy and you know it" and replaced it with a rendition in which it says "flip the bird" which is uncalled for seeing as how my son is 2! He stated since my son was autistic he would not grow up and have children because "no one would want to sleep with him let alone be with him". I'm very very unhappy with this doctor. If you have a chance to see someone else other than him take it because he is very unprofessional. Dr. Katz was absolutely wonderful! I’ve heard A LOT of terrible things about him and I just don’t understand why. All of us are a little different and unique in our own ways including him and I wouldn’t have anyone else work with my son. He was very interested in my son and asked every question you could think of which was a relief considering everyone else just brushed him off. He is such an intelligent doctor and he did a very good job keeping my son interested and comfortable. He even got down on the floor with him to finish his evaluation when he wanted to lay on the floor. Went to see him to have son evaluated for autism. He was very good with him! He spent 2 hours evaluating him and interviewing us as parents. He gave us recommendations to have further testing and wanted to follow up after that to make sure we are getting what we need for him. Also had great input for his ADHD. Dr Katz was and awesome neuroligest back in the day this letter really hurted me you call my Son a Scary Black guy my child has quite of Disability I see what you looking at I need a neuroligest who care and your not the person giving my child some pills he don't need could of kill my son.i receive this Yesterday the parents of ???? I review his IEP there's a limitation is that it relies on the report's done between 2009 and 2015 of though there is nothing to indicate things have changed greatly since then the way I read the reports and some ways is probably function better than will be predicted I suppose more possibility is that he was resisting to examination even back in 2008 and 2012 and 2015 so that he scored more poorly on these tests that is capable of what I sense is that in the right setting is capable of making progress and learning and sometimes seem to enjoy my overal understanding of him is that he was there are a lot of ifs in the until we can get him to cooperate I think the progress that he makes will be a lot less than he is capable of I do not have a solution for exactly what to do if he becomes more violent at that point if he is danger to you to himself or two others I can guess that a brief Psychiatric Hospital in admission might be preferable to involvement with the Juvenile Justice System but at that point in my also be worth thinking about a residential treatment facility for enough time that we have to learn to work with other people who don't cater to him sincerely yours Daniel a Katz MD Dr Katz was and awesome neuroligest back in the day this letter really hurted me you call my Son a Scary Black guy my child has quite of Disability I see what you looking at I need a neuroligest who care and your not the person giving my … More

Dr. Katz is a wonderful practitioner. He is a little quirky; however, I enjoy his sense of humor, and I can tell he truely cares about our child. His office is responsive and he always does what he can to meet our needs.

Excellent! First off, we were seen on time!!!! Secondly, he gave us truly 100% of his attention and time! Very thorough, genuinely interested in our concerns! Vast majority of the doctors are late, rush through exams, get you out of the door as soon as they can, not Dr Katz! We live over 60 miles away from his office, but the drive and our time was well worth it!!!!!!!!
