Dr. Daniel Ross Hayford

My husband and I searched for months while I was pregnant, looking for the right pediatrician for our daughter. We came across Dr. Hayford and reviewed his website. We really liked what we read on it. The fact that he is independant really was perfect for us. Now our daughter is 17 months old, it's safe to say we have been to this practice many times at this point. All the nurses are splendid, they are so kind and so gentle and fun with our daughter. Very attentive as well. Dr. Hayford is GREAT. On a phone call with my husband today he even said, "I'm so glad we found him." He is understanding and patient. He explains everything in detail and answers all your questions extremely well. He is amazing with our daughter, he definately is experienced with children.He doesn't just spend a few minutes with you and runs off, he really takes his time with the patient and the parents. If you are looking for a great pediatrician, he is the right one for you. He really is awesome. Not to mention, he has a fire truck bed! My son went to see Dr. Hayford from birth until about 10 years of age. We moved to the other side of town and we were unable to make a few appointments and eventually found a doctor closer to our new home. Well that doctor moved to Georgia and now my son is having issues and wants to go back to Dr. Hayford since he is familiar with him and knows about some pains he had in his chest when he was younger and is now experiencing again. I call to make an appointment and they told me he had missed an appointment and they can't see him (very rudely as well!) I said even after all these years? That was 6-7 years ago!! And they said "even after all these years"!! Smh. So now I have to explain to my son that they don't care enough to see him and we need to find someone that actually cares! I am VERY disappointed in Dr. Hayford and his staff. My son really wanted to go back there and it wasn't even his fault we were banned! Shame on you all! My Kids Have Been Going Here Since they were kids and now half of them are in highschool, so about 8 years

I have been very happy with the care my daughters receive from Dr. Hayford.

We have been with Dr. Hayford for 11 plus years. He is so personable and caring. I highly recommend him. His staff is also so amazing.

Honestly Dr. Hayford is a very great peditirican for your child. My husband and I live up in Anson/Zionsville area and we drive to this practice because its definitely worth it. Dr. Hayford truly CARES for his patients. The nurses are just amazing also. Dr. Hayford takes the time to listen to your concerns and questions and explains in details the answers to those questions. He will respect your views and opinions and explain why he believes what is best for your child. He is independent and not controlled by any hospital or other entities. Therefore he can do what he and YOU feel is best. He is responsive of your calls or emails with a scare such as rash ect. Truly my family is blessed the Lord led us to his practice. Give this doctor a chance with your child, you won't regret it.

Dr. Hayford is incompetent. As the Medical Director for Ambetter Insurance he recently reviewed my medical claim and denied it. I was born with Transposition of the the Great Vessels, but Dr. Hayford likely isn't knowledgable in that area. I went to MedCheck with a heart rate of 245bmp; which along with my congenital heart defect they wisely called an ambulance. IU Health North's adult cardiologist felt it was best to send me to IU Health Methodist to be seen by the Adult Pediatric Cardiologist. I was sent via ambulance. Dr. Daniel Hayford is a pediatrician, who I am sure is wonderful in his studied profession, but he is not a Pediatric Adult Cardiologist. As such, he is not medically knowledgable to deny my coverage as "not medically necessary" and "no evidence of heart failure". If Dr. Daniel Hayford had properly reviewed my papers he would be aware of my heart defect. My pediatrician always deferred to my cardiologist in such matters. I hope none of Dr. Hayford's patients have a congenital heart defect. In the future please rethink your decisions for Cardiology patients. Dr. Hayford is incompetent. My daughter's Dr is just wonderful

We absolutely love Dr. Hayford. Very thorough and personable. He truly cares for my kids and knows them both very well. We love him!!

I love them and so do my girls. We’ve never had a bad experience, from check ups to a crazy bug bite.

Dr hayford is amazing my five year old son goes here and he has done so much for him that I’ve been trying to get other doctors to do. He is very cautious and carrying I would recommend

Run run run!!!! This place is terrible!!! Unorganized, billing has no idea what they are doing. I have never received a medical bill for my children. EVER! WHY? BECAUSE THEY ARE ON MEDICAD. self explanitary right?! But for some reason they refused to see my newborn again after seeing her from birth for her checkups. Apparently her insurance was pending approval so they couldn't give her her 2 month immunizations. So I went to the health department for that. Then their billing personel calls and says I have a balance of 400.00 I told them once her medicaid was approved I'll have them back bill. Which medicaid will do because they did it for her hospital bill from birth. Her insurance gets approved and they still say they can't back pay for that. I called her insurance and they said of course we will back pay that. Then my child gets RSV I call to schedule a follow up appointment and they tell me because my other son who hasn't been seen since 5 years ago there missed his appointments then they won't accept my daughter. Im like well u have been seeing her soo why tell me this now. Oh because your mad about the insurance situation. So now I will take my 4 month old with RSV whos health you completely disregarded because you all are a money scamming business somewhere else to doctor's that care. My daughter has been a patient here for 13 1/2 years, literally since birth. Dr. Hobbs/Dr. Smith partners at the time came to the hospital when I delivered to do the check up on my daughter. Never in 13 1/2 years have we had any billing or appointment issues. I had a billing issue earlier this year, questioned the bill, ended up paying it anyway. I called today to be told they sent it to collections and dropped my daughter as a patient. My daughter has life threatening medical issues in which she sees specialists and Dr. Zwick for and was told "should have paid your bills!" Excuse me???? I paid my bill to you!!!! Not a collection company and never in 13 1/2 years have we ever had an issue and our bills are always paid. Then we are told a couple of phone calls later that we were mailed several notices and a notice stating she was dropped as a patient. I promise you on everything, that never happened and nothing was ever mailed to us or I would have called right then questioning why after 13 1/2 years later my daughter is being dropped as a patient!!!! I received ONE bill in which I called and questioned then paid. Then be told they sent to collections. So I provided proof of date and time from my bank account of it being paid (keep in mind this is a $30 bill!!) and still be told "oh well, should have paid your bills, we are a business." You have my money, I did my part. But you want to be rude and condescending to me. After reading other reviews, looks like billing is an issue with them as well!!! We have seen both Hayford and Zwick, they are wonderful! I am glad to have chosen them as my sons primary providers. Highly recommended!

We've been going here for almost 6 years, & they are great. Dr. Hayford is a terrific doctor. He is always very thorough & makes sure to address your concerns. My daughter has been sick so much lately since starting school & he has been so great & understanding! Most definitely recommend!
