Don't ever go to St. Francis in Shakopee & have hernia surgery by Dr. Daniel Gatlin!!! Dr. Johnson doesn't seem to be much better. He wasn't a caring or friendly Dr., he was extremely rude/a jerk in the preop 5 minutes before surgery & his stitching care of my wounds looked like it was done by a 5 year old. Now I live the rest of my life with big scars from the operation, that he could have avoided if he took the time to do it right. Do not use him as a doctor or have surgery at St. Francis in Shakopee!!!
Dr. Gatlin didn't listen or educate me on my surgery. The day of the operation he was rude & unprofessional with me. Choose a different Doctor & hospital, don't make the same mistake I did! I would give them zero stars if I could.

My wife had an appendectomy on Sunday morning. Since then the surgeons office left my wife with no access to pain meds after surgery. We have been trying to get the meds for two days and no one helped or called back until Tuesday morning and then only a hey wait longer until we figure this out. I spoke to the hospital, left a message for the patient advocate, spoke to the emergency room and called a charge nurse six times with no answer while I watched my wife in pain. Of course you are thinking why didnât you call the doctor, we tried. Ridiculous care for a patient you will charge 1000âs of dollars for this BS. Mark Petrich
