Disrespectful of patients time, self check-in include scanning credit card license and insurance. . Place is creepy and the doctor still didn't come in the room after 45 had to leave lost my copay

I was disappointed with Dr. Carothers. After a wait in the waiting room and a longer wait in the treatment room, Dr. Carothers spend less than two minutes examining me. There was no examination of my throat and I had to ask him to examine my ears, which took seconds, and had to ask him to suction my sinus, which was one of my complaints.He did examine my sinus for a few seconds. I was disappointed because I know that DR. Carothers is capable of better. Just learned Dr. Carothers submitted bills of over $700.00 and got over $300.00 for my "visit" plus my copay. I had a chronic infection in my ear for three years that three other specialists couldn’t cure. Doctor Carothers was persistent and figured out the right treatment. The entire staff is very professional and courteous.

NEVER VISIT THIS DR EVER AGAIN . NEVER RETURNS CALLS.THEY HAVE A NURSE LINE WHERE NOBODY PICKS UP CALL AND NOBODY BOTHERS TO CALL BACK. GOOD THING - SINCE ITS PATIENTS WITH THROAT PROBLEMS,THEY HAVE AN ADVANTAGE THAT PATIENTS WONT SPEAK AGAINST THEM. SO STAY AWAY FROM THIS DR.

Was not helpful at all. I went in with a pain in my jaw and ears, most likely TMJ but I received no guidance, no instructions or suggestions. Absolutely NO help, but they sure collect payment fast. Would not suggest this doctor to anyone.

One of the worst ENT attending. Arrogant and unskillful to say the least. The surgery he did for our son was a waste of time and money. Do your research before considering this guy.

There are few people that I would recommend however Dr. Carothers is NOT on that list. He has taken GREAT care of my daughter and god-son. I had a tonsillectomy, septoplasty, and sinus surgery by Dr. Carothers in 2017. He provided excellent care before, during, and after surgery. He has also operated on all 3 of my children and provided wonderful care to them as well. I would definitely recommended seeing Dr. Carothers!

I have suffered with chronic sinus issues most of my life and Dr. Carothers has been instrumental in helping me breathe much more easily over the past 7 years. Patient care is not a consideration for Dr. Carothers only up-selling services and products. Three family members went to him for separate issues and in all cases he recommended at least one surgery after batteries of tests that were outside of insurance coverage. Second opinions recommended only one surgery be performed of SIX he tried to push! On multiple occasions wrote bad prescriptions that the pharmacy would not fill because they would harm the patient (child). After multiple calls and messages that went unanswered I had to show up at the office to demand that the prescriptions were corrected. The billing department does not take calls and hangs up if someone happens to answer. This happened to me and my insurance company. His office is under staffed and appointments are not on time. There is not a single redeeming quality about ENT Institute and Daniel Carothers is not to be trusted, he is only serving his best interests. I feel awful I ever exposed my family to these people.

Dr. Carothers and ENT Institute as a whole are all about the money instead of the patient and what is right. They look for any excuse to charge for anything and don't tell the patient when they are doing a "surgical procedure" which is done as part of an office visit. After a surgery you normally get post op visits if they are seeing you soon-after but they charge your office visit co-pay every time. I would't recommend my worst enemy to this provider!

2 words.... STAY AWAY!!! As you will read in numerous other reviews if you have an issue with billing good luck with getting it resolved. You are unable to ever reach anyone and takes a week to return any correspondence. If you miss the call and you call back it will take another week to get a response. Same with email. BEWARE if they have you sign any type of CONSENT. It is pretty much a contract that you can not get out of if you change your mind about treatment. They billed me for a service I decided not to proceed with later on and they said I signed the consent and had to pay. All they care about is money and not the patient care.

He's straightforward... but not the best bedside manners, I wish he was a bit more empathetic and explained himself...

My husband was operated on by Dr. Carothers in the basement of an Alpharetta office building. It was creepy. They rushed him out of recovery and he was sick the entire way home. Since his surgery in March he has had multiple sinus infections and has sought a 22nd opinion. The scan shows that Dr. Carothers' surgery did not fix the problem and now he must have additional surgery. We will never use this doctor again!

This guy is a business man, not a doctor. You ever been to a shady mechanic? Think of that when you think of Carothers.

I went to see Dr. Carothers because he was recommended to me by a friend who had sinus surgery done by him however I had a problem with my ear & being new to the area took her word for it. I went through all the tests that he asked me to do including the most detailed toxicology test I ever had. My issue with my ear did not get resolved & 7 month later I received a bill for over $3000 dollars that my Ins apparently will not cover & all I have is a useless toxicology test "VERY" disappointing!!!

BEWARE of Dr. Carothers!!! After a 5 minute examination with promises of charging $350, I found out through my insurance provider that ENT Institute had ordered a toxicology screening, a confirmation and a genetics test.... all for some sinus pain. I called the billing department to find out what these charges were for and all they could tell me was to submit an authorization so that I could pay MORE to retrieve my medical documents (66 cents a page plus an admin fee of $25).
