I had a root canal done and my experience with Dr. Westwood was great. The whole procedure was painless and took less than 45 minutes. He was gentle, efficient, communicated to me the entire time, and was patient in answering my questions. His assistant (not sure her name) was also very efficient. It's been two days since my procedure and I haven't needed any pain medication. The woman who runs the office, Leigh, was fabulous as well, very kind and clearly explained everything with my insurance and aftercare. PLUS, they are reasonably priced. I felt safe since they follow all the Covid-19 protocols. The office was spotless, even down to the pens being sanitized. I highly recommend Dr. Westwood! I had a recent situation involving fear-induced “predatory dentistry” by an office telling me I needed 7k of emergency dental work (discouraging the opportunity for second opinions). Dr. Westwood was able to provide a consult and thoroughly review my case. These “emergency procedures” were, in fact, not needed. He is a legitimate, trustworthy, knowledgeable practitioner. He made getting a root canal a just non-painful procedure.

I went in for a root canal and was advised to put in a bar for support because the tooth was very fragile. I thought nothing of it until I moved out of state and began having loud loud noises in that ear. It was like being hooked up to a amplifier. Well, I called and emailed the Dr. To see if this was normal and he never got back to me. Now I have to pay someone else to remove the bar because it is painful.
