Back in 2009 my tips of my figures got cut off. Doctor Young was able to save them. I don't know how but he did. Best Doctor!

Dr. Young is a great surgeon and the only person that I would trust to have surgery with. He is very thorough and takes great care of his patients. I would 100% go back if needed in the future!

Dr. Young is the best hand surgeon in the tri-city area. I don’t care about his “bedside manner” or how the office staff behaves. I want a surgeon who is the best in his field. He patiently listened while I asked a multitude of questions about alternatives to surgery and explained why the treatment he proposed is the one he routinely uses. Dr Curtis Young did surgery on.bith of my hands over the last few years. Thumb conection rebuilt. Everything went as pland . Results are very effective. Years later still doing good. He has a great personality also

My daughter needed emergency surgery on her wrist after an equestrian fall. I wanted a specialist and was so worried. Dr. Young was highly skilled and she is up to almost full function after just 2 months with a very minimal scar despite her massive break. I’m not sure why some reviewers expect a high demand surgeon to be their therapist too, but he was professional and I’m so grateful my daughter is riding again!

I injured my hand almost a year ago it was August of 2021 I was referred to him from my primary care doctor They told me the only appointment they had available for surgery for my hand to fix my finger they said it was trigger finger was in June of 2022 Now it is may of 2022 and now he is telling me he don't think Surgery is going to help he don't know what is wrong with my hand but it is not trigger finger the pain is in the wrong spot. I was refered to this doctor from my primary physician. I do not like him. He is very rude and does not listen to my concerns the first time I seen him. He Stated if I had surgery on my hand I would loose all functionality. Yet he sent me to get an EMG to see what he can do about pain therapy. The EMG was done I went back to him. He again did not listen to my concerns and said I would need 2 surgerys. One for carpal tunnel then another one to fix the problem. I asked in the mean time what do I do about the pain. He told me to schedul another apporintment and he will give me a quaterzone shot. I did not reschedule. He is very rude and unprofessional with no sense of concern for the patient. Dr. Young is a great surgeon, but service is terrible. Waited an hour and 45 minutes past my appointment time. The PA saw me leaving and stopped me, waited another 10 minutes for her. Appt was on Feb 18th, 6 weeks later I'm still waiting to hear from the office for an EMG appt so I can proceed. Called the office, will be another 5 days before I know anything??? VERY UNHAPPY!!! If your looking for candy coating this isn’t a doctor for you. He knows his stuff tells it like it is and does a phenomenal thorough job. Highly recommend. Also, staff is amazing and helpful.

Dr. Young was absolutey fantastic when our daughter broke her finger and required surgery to fix it. I was a bit concerned when I read his reviews, and yes, Dr. Young is quieter and is not always super chatty, but he was very nice and patient with us and our questions, provided us with a lot of information and did an amazing job on our daughter's surgery. We HIGHLY recommend Dr. Young to anyone who needs his services, he is the BEST. Oh, and all of his staff were so nice and very helpful, top notch team! Dr Young is an excellent surgeon. Has performed several surgeries. Wonderful results. I have been to other hand surgeons and he is by far the best. I highly recommend Dr Young.

I would never go back to him had an appointment for surgery at 2:15 pm and the got pushed back to 6:30 then again at 5:30 came in and told me it would be around 8:30 wouldn't recommend him at all

Unprofessional doctor and his team. Today I had an appointment at 8:30 am,I was at his clinic at 8:20. Nobody was his clinic on that time I checked in and seat in the waiting room after me 3 patients arrived and his staff called all of them inside but didn't call me till 9:30. After 8:30 She called me inside the doctor room than the doctor came in the room and he spent just 15 minutes and he was very rude, I told them both my hands wrist are hurting but he said at the time of booking an appointment your wife told us you have pain in your left hand so I just focused on your left hand so I asked him should I book separate appointment for my right hand and he rudely said yes. If I could I would give 0 stars. I had an appointment in February for a contracture in 3 of my fingers. The Dr came in acted like I was wasting his time told me I needed an EMG before he did anything. Then proceeded to not finish my note and go on vacation for the next 3 to 4 weeks. I finally called their office and was told he hadn't gotten my note done. It took another month, plus my primary calling to talk to him for him to get my note done. Now I am still waiting (It's now halfway through April) to be scheduled for an EMG. I have called my primary and told her I refuse to go to this Dr again. If I could I would give 0 stars. My primary care doctor referred me to this office to have a small strawberry hemangioma removed from my finger. Waited 2 months to get in only to be ushered in to have an x-ray done as soon as I arrived. They didn't even know what I was there for and yet, somehow they figured it was necessary to x-ray my bones. ?? I tried to explain that I was only in for a skin/circulatory issue and that I preferred to not have an x-ray done for no reason and before even being looked at. The nurse went to ask the PA if it was okay that I was seen before getting an x-ray done. She came back and said, "He said he can't see you until you have an x-ray done." Seems like they are more interested in making money than caring for their patients' individual needs. So I left. I'll find a doctor that will look at my hand and speak to me face-to-face before ordering tests. I was referred to Dr. Young by my primary care physician because I thought I had carpel tunnel. I was shocked at how fast I was able to get in. When I went in for my appointment the office staff was super nice! Dr. Young on the other hand, he didn’t even introduce himself. He walked in the room and said “what’s wrong with your hand”. After I explained what was going on, he got up and walked out. Came back about 5 minutes later and said I needed labs because he thought I had rheumatoid arthritis and not carpel tunnel. Keep taking over the counter pain relievers, come back in 3-4 weeks. I ended up having to reschedule my follow-up appointment, which was my fault, so now it’s been 6 weeks. I went in for the follow-up but I was schedule to see the PA. I go to my appointment, where I’m told the PA won’t see me because there’s nothing in my chart, nobody knows why I was sent for labs and the doctor isn’t in. I explained what happened at my first appointment, they still wouldn’t see me. How does Dr.Young expect to remember anything that should be in my chart when I haven’t been there for 6 weeks? Wanted me to come in the next week to see the doctor, but I couldn’t get immediate time off that fast. So the staff said they were going to ask the doctor to fill out my chart so the PA could see me on a Friday that I have off, haven’t heard from them since. I guess my time isn’t that valuable and my hands must not hurt that bad. Thankful for my primary that is going to help me instead, since the pain has now turned into pain and swelling. I've had 4 surgeries and am about to have a fifth. Dr. Young and his staff are wonderful. I would recommend him.

Performed a repair of ring finger Fx. Excellent staff, Dr. Young explained the procedure and care plan clearly. Among the best,with a professional staff.

I am experiencing fantastic results from surgery that Dr. Young performed on my wrist 5 years ago. My hand and wrist function are superb, as though the fracture never even happened. The office staff was extremely helpful in coordinating office appointments as I was traveling from out of town and had fractured my ankle in the same accident. Since that time, I have watched two close friends experience significantly problematic treatment following similar breaks -- different physicians, different cities, and very different outcomes. Bottom line, the physician you choose matters. I remain profoundly grateful for the care I received from Dr. Young.

Dr Young is fine, but the office service in general is not great. 2 months after an appointment with follow up, I've never heard from them. The only contact is when I call them.

The Dr. And his PA are most empathetic.

Had carpal tunnel surgery on 10/25/19. Dr. Young talked to me prior and was very friendly and straight forward. Excellent experience with him and terrific doctor.

Dr Young was outstanding! He saved my wrist from a severe mistake another so called “top notch” physician made. Highly recommended!!!

Never saw the guy. Met his PA instead who treated me fine and my wrist injury successfully. The office personnel could use some customer service training - they were so intent on discussing their lunch plans and leaving for lunch that my questions remained unanswered.

First time seeing him. Very abrupt and abrasive. Poor personality. Didn’t really care about what I said. I won’t be back.

Over books everything waited for 4hours for a simple hand surgery and acted like it was our fault never again

Did not get to meet the dr. Showed up for appointment and was told they changed it to two weeks later. However failed to notify us of the change. Only know the staff is obviously not up to par. Very angry.

Messed up my hand in carpel tunnel surgery. Lost use of thumb completely. 2 surgeries for 1 simple procedure. Find another surgeon!

After having a serious hand injury, Dr. Young somehow fit me into his examination and surgery schedule to repair the damage. The operation was successful and done with least impact overall. The partially amputated finger appears to be healing well, and the other finger is healing even better after having had its broken tip pinned. I was charged for a 40 minute consultation that only lasted 10 minutes. I was told he was reviewing my x-rays and referring doctor's notes the rest of the time. After paying for the visit I still have the cyst that I went in for. Referring doctor didn't want to drain it because it was close to the knuckle; Dr. Young said he could but I would need to schedule a follow-up visit (costing me even more) but recommended surgery instead (costing much more). Padding the bill, I won't be back.

Horrible Horrible Horrible!!! Dont go to him. Does not care about his patients!!! Worth the drive to go somewhere else!!!!

Rude LPM, no reason given for appointment they scheduled. Dr took over 45 minutes to enter the room with him leaving and went in with another patient while I waited to finish the appointment. I will not return there. No laser surgery offered as treatment for hand issues. I would definitely never recommend this doctor/office to anyone.
