Dr. Johnson was personable and thorough in examining issues I was experiencing with my hands. He offered options for treatment and administered the option I selected at this time. I was pleased with the experience.

We have used Dr. Johnson many many times over the years. We have always had successful surgeries and quick recoveries. He is especially great at giving us information about our issues without us even asking him. Grest Doctor!

Dr Johnson removed a myxiod (or mucous) cyst from my finger. He and his staff performed the surgery as planned, having told me exactly what to expect. Professional pre-surgery diagnostic visit along with follow up after surgery were both afforded me to my satisfaction. Thank you Dr Johnson.

Incredible skill and care. My husband had carpel tunnel surgery and is 100% back to normal.

I was impressed with the receptionist. She was friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Johnson was great at explaining all the findings from my nerve study and explained the procedure that I need.

Dr. Johnson is an excellent surgeon, in my experience. He was able to pinpoint the problem and offered an alternative to surgery. He took time to understand the issue and answer questions—and also to look beyond the immediate issue into other relevant issues. The office staff is friendly and efficient, and I was in and out quite quickly (for a doctor’s office).

Dr. Curtis Johnson is great! He’s shoots straight with me, is very knowledgeable, and always gives me great feedback with honest answers (even some I may wish were different). He really has been phenomenal in my several years visiting him for Osteoarthritis in both hands. A bonus is he has a fun personality with a great sense of humor. Dr. Johnson was very helpful in evaluating my aching hand. He was very thorough in explaining what needed to happen and what options there were. I would recommend this office to anyone.

I have been to Dr Curtis Johnson multiple times over the years. He is very nice, easy to talk to and he includes you in your treatment plan. He has also done surgery on both hands and that took care of my problem. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a specialist in his field!

Turns out doctors are rarely thanked for a job well done. So here it is: Dr. Johnson performed 3 surgeries on my hand after a construction accident. Not only did he do a phenomenal job, but he allowed me to shadow him after showing a slight interest in becoming a surgeon. If it wasn't for Dr. Johnson going above and beyond in caring for me as his patient, I don't believe I would be in medical school today. He expressed that I was capable and showed me the ideal example of what it means to be a caring physician. You can't tell from the photo: but I lost two fingers. Completely crushed my ring finger and my pinky was in 3 pieces. Hardly left a scar. Thanks to a a few properly performed surgeries I rarely have any pain. Thanks Dr. Johnson. Dr. Johnson was very professional with just a touch of humor! He answered all my questions And my procedure went smoothly! I would definitely recommend going to him if you have any issues with hands and wrists.

I was able to fill out medical information online which made it very quick and easy to get into my appointment. Dr. Johnson listened to and answered all my questions and concerns, he is very nice. The staff was friendly and very helpful in scheduling my surgery. I felt confident in getting the best care possible.

I was seen very promptly by Dr Johnson. He was thorough in his evaluation and thoughtful in his treatment options, fully considering my situation...not a one size fits all approach. I thought he was superb and would highly recommend him!

Appointment available in just a few days. Soon after that a quick in-office surgical procedure. Everything well done. And the surgical assistant was my former nursing student!

I had a follow up appointment here post surgery with Dr Curtis Johnson. I usually see him in his Provo office. Two things impressed me about this Salem clinic. First, it’s beautiful building - open, full of sunshine and encouraging artwork. Second, and most important, I saw the same competent medical staff I know and trust in Provo working here in Salem. Above all, I received the excellent, precise care I needed and expected from an incredible surgeon I researched carefully, have observed for decades and have the upmost trust in his professional opinion and experience. If you are reading this trying to decide treatment options, please consider my personal experience. I highly recommend Dr. Curtis Johnson and his team - in Provo or Salem. Staff was very friendly and efficient. Got me in quickly. Dr. Johnson was attentive and explained things well.

I was seen very promptly and Dr. Johnson knew exactly what I needed and responded with thoughtful kindness and expertise.

Until yesterday, I would have given Dr. Johnson a 5 Star Rating. But yesterday, Nov. 25, 2019 I drove thru a snow storm on the most treacherous road in Utah, Highway 6 to get to my appointment on time. And when I arrived, the office person said,"Oh didn't you get a call, Dr. Johnson isn't here today." And NO I did not get a call. Nor, did I have any missed messages from your office. I did however, get to do my last therapy appointment.

Not impressed AT ALL. I was told to get a nerve test done on my carpal tunnel symptoms that didn't appear to be the right symptoms for carpal tunnel. I went to their suggested person. Results came back it wasn't carpal tunnel. So, they suggested another nerve test with a different doctor. This one cost me $1000! A little warning would have been nice. Not ONE word that it would be that expensive. I sat through painful shock tests and found I did have "mild" carpal tunnel. Get this. The results were only told to me by the person administering the test. You know how they say they will send the results to the doctor? Well, I never heard back from Johnson's staff like last time when they called me in for an office visit (requiring copay) to tell me I didn't have carpal tunnel. So, am I an anomaly or someone to just pay their overinflated rates? Not impressed with any of the money-making scheme at Revere Health nor the lack of interest the doctors have in my health. I really appreciated Dr. Johnson's willingness to explain and offer recommendations that weren't always surgery. I've seen him a couple of times (trigger finger and a large lipoma under muscle in the forearm) and both times, surgery was not the focus of treatment. When I finally did need surgery on my forearm, it went fantastic and healed even better. His associate was surprised at the immediate range of motion after the brace was removed. For anything hand or arm, he's my guy!

I was referred by my companys Workmen's Comp. insurance company and was able to get in fairly fast with one of Dr. Johnson's colleagues Levi and I am very impressed with his skills .... although part of the support staff was supposed to get back to me today in between 430 and 445 concerning some pain medicine and they did not. I hope that one day when the person responsible for getting back to me is in extreme pain she does not get flaked off by her doctors support staff.

Very professional and helpful. Was able to get in quick and they were extremely helpful with my care. Couldn't have expected better.

I broke my pinky a year ago, and underwent surgery. The finger now has minimal discomfort and full movement, only that the finger is just as crooked as the day I broke it. Dr. Johnson's only cares about functionality. I wish I would have gone with someone who cares about functionality but also is concerned with making restoring the finger back to its original shape. He is very thoughtful and gentle. He explains what he thinks is happening, and options to correct the problem. Also how long it takes to rehab.

Very professional yet very down to earth as well.
