If I could give zero stars, I would. The doctors are good but the staff is horrible. The girls that work at the front desk/medical assistant do not work with people(definitely at the wrong profession). I’ve been going to this office for over 4 years, and in the last 5 months I’m not sure what changed but the new staff is terrible definitely changing doctors.

Dr. Sanchez ,the PA's and staff are always attentive and understanding. When my child had rsv, their prompt action help him get to the hospital ER right away. I'll always be grateful for that.

I have three kids, I always get an appointment as soon as possible if they’re sick. The wait time is a bit long sometimes, but much better than urgent care or the ER. Dr Sanchez, Kit, and riza always have a smile and treat us with respect. The MA is very helpful and nice.

When we started with Dr. Sanchez she was in Fallston! When asked why we followed her to Perryville I say she is an amazing doctor and person. Every visit was like sitting with a friend always asking about how we were ALL doing taking time to listen to my children and my concerns. We are sadly ending our time with Dr Sanchez ( she saw both my children in the hospital when they were a day old) my children are now 21 & 18 this year but will definitely stay in touch with Dr. Sanchez !

Mariana is awesome! She always has a smile on her face when we are in the office, and is always a comforting person for my kids. Whenever we need assistance with anything she is more than willing to help us. Just want to say “Thank you” to her for all that she does for my family and every other family that goes to the practice. She’s a rock star!!!

Last week I was there with my nice,and i loved how the front desk and the MA treated us they was so helpful they helped me fill out the paperwork they were also making jokes with my nice and give here candy and some lovely stickers am due in couple months and I will be taking my baby girl there

If I could give negative stars I WOULD . Last week would have been my daughter’s first visit . I’m which they scheduled her at opening . When I went they were closed . Well it was a girl at the desk but she didn’t open up yet so I went back to the car with my child . I went back 5 minutes after . As I approached the desk she was very unhelpful and rude, didn’t even greet us by the way . I was confused . So I informed this was our first visit , can instruct me where to sign in or they process of things. Which caused her to get even more rude . I then called around trying to speak with someone about this and/or just find another doctor . I got in touch with a woman who told me she would write the info report it to Sanchez the doctor and said she would definitely return my call to follow up on the unforeseen circumstances. It is now a week later and I have not heard from ANYONE about the situation. I would not recommend, if you can find anywhere else for your child please don’t go here ! Update:: Doctor was professional enough to respond on here to try and protect her publicity but not professional enough to call and say it. Like I’ve read from a previous reviewer she is only concerned of her reviews on here very unprofessional . She claim after investigation. My three kids have been seen by dr Sanchez since they were born, 5,4, and 1.5 yo. The front desk girls are always extremely nice, cheerful, and helpful. 10/10 would recommend, don’t look anywhere else that these girls will have your kids well taken care of

I absolutely love Dr Sanchez and all the workers at her office. Katie and the secretary are both so nice and friendly and the new Dr there is so nice along with the therapist Ms Edwards. If you want a great pediatrician this is the office to come too.

Horrendous pediatric office. The doctors are pleasant and knowledgeable enough , but the office staff is completely incompetent. The Essex office never answers the phone. Almost every time I call it’s rings and rings and rings. I would say on average I waited 10-15 mins every time to speak with someone. They are rude, unprofessional, and seem inconvenienced to assist me with questions regarding my child’s health. I recently left messages for the on call doctor regarding a prescription emergency and it took substantial time for them to get back to me. My child went without his daily medication as a result and missed school due to their incompetence. I work in the medical field and have children at other pediatric offices and have never experienced anything near the awful service I do here. Unfortunately, I cannot switch him to another office for certain reasons, but would strongly advise you to not utilize this pediatric office. Update 10/13/2021: I just received an extremely hostile call directly from Dr. Sanchez. When I needed this office, I could not get a hold of them, but she found time to attack me today in response to this review. I couldn't speak, or explain my reasoning, as she was only interested in attacking, not listening. I stand behind this review 100% and even more so after her response. We had very good experiences with this practice for the first 3 years or so. But not lately. The main two complaints are that 1. they do not listen to the parents when a prescription is ineffective for their child and 2. there are never available appointments, at any of the 4 offices. It’s usually a 3-4 day wait. And if they mis diagnose it’s another 3-4 day wait. Which has happened to us. Our last 3 experiences with this practice have been bad. We’re actively looking for another pediatrician, which may help THEM with the wait times and responsiveness. Lol. My advice is look elsewhere if you want a responsive doctor.

Have been taking my daughter to this pediatrician for 18 months and have never been fully satisfied with the staff, particularly their interactions with my daughter. They tended to be curt, slightly frustrated at times with her, and did not actively engage with her beyond the bare minimum. She is always nervous as soon as we arrive because of previous appointment interactions. Our last well visit confirmed that I definitely needed to select a new pediatrician. We met Dr. Sanchez for the first time since my daughter was born. She came in, did not introduce herself to me and immediately proceeded to berate me on a certain issue before asking any questions or seeking to understand the whole history. I found her to be very condescending and she did not taking time to ask questions before making assumptions. All this being said, I will say that for several visits we were seeing Nkechinyere Uwandu who was the reason that kept me coming as long as I did. She did take a bit more time to ask questions, was more understanding of my daughter's apprehension at the pediatrician, and was more comforting with her. this people are careless they have no Idea what they doing that's not the doctors you want to take your child to, they don't keep child records, one of the nurse almost give my child a vaccine that she already have and they manage to loose my child shot record.

My son was sick and I called the after hour number for instructions and never received a call back. I went into the office the next day for his check up and the nurse practitioner did not know anything about my son. Her hair was extremely long and my son was grabbing it and it went in his eye and she did not think to tie her hair. We believe she measured my son head wrong because we measure it when we got home and got a drastic difference. He woke up the next day with a temp of 100.7 I called the on call and nothing. Staff is very unprofessional and rude. The wait is always long even when you’re early. I have been taking my daughter there over a year and was hoping once the new building was finished being remodeled things would get better since maybe they would be more organized but nothing has changed. My daughter has severe allergies and it took months for me to get an appointment with the allergist only after I had to continuously call and demanded one. Then once it was complete Dr Sanchez and the staff didn’t offer any medicine for her and said I needed to make a separate appointment to get a prescription which is ridiculous. Finally they prescribed her Benadryl which makes no sense since she has to take it every 6 hrs. Who gives a toddler medicine every 6 hrs! I've had three visits and at first it was good then my last visit I took my baby there because she kept throwing up mucus and the nurse did very a RSV on her and denied that she has pneumonia. Dr Corazon Sanchez has taken care of my 2 Grandsons for over 15 years . She has taken great care of all their medical needs . If you need a appointment , you can get one the same day . I am so thankful for her .

Awesome doctor! She been seeing my kids since they were little. You can get an appointment same day which is hard to find. She has always made them feel comfortable... love her. Definitely would recommend her...

We take my son to the perryville office, this is his 3rd visit, and all three times we have an appointment, I arrive ten to fifteen minutes early, we are never brought back at the time of the appointment, and most of the time we can see the entire staff just sitting in the office. We had an appointment at 1pm, we were not seeing the nurse until 1:20, and it is 1:45 and we have yet to see the doctor. As I am sure most parents do, I work two jobs, one of which I was late to because of the untimely manner in which they choose to operate. A patient is supposed to have the SAME Doctor each time he/she comes for a Physical, but no. We are seen by a DIFFERENT Doctor each and everytime. Please take your child somewhere else. I thought this office was good because they saw my son unexpectedly when he got sick, and I thank them for that. BUT I must say, I will not be going back. They messed up when they did a short Strep test in the office and told me my son did not have Strep and that they will still send it to the lab for the long test, that was either on a Tuesday or Wednesday. So then on MONDAY they call saying that he DOES have Strep and will need antibiotics. They gave me some excuse about the test came back Friday as inconclusive. So even if your office is closed on the weekend, why are you not making a call on Saturday/Sunday to the lab to find out about results, because you being a doctor know how deadly Strep can be if untreated, OR call me that Friday and tell me because the test was inconclusive to not let him be around anyone until the results from the long test are in, AND give me antibiotics just in case. I was livid. I had my son around numerous people, thinking he was not contagious, and he even went to school on that Monday. He went through 2 bottles of Tylenol and didn't really start to feel better until that Sunday. Nope, not going back. I've been bringing my sister to the Sanchez Pediatrics for years, I love Dr Sanchez and her staff! They are always accommodating with last minute appointments and so friendly ! I would definitely recommended !

I will always recommend patients to Dr. Sanchez. She has been our pediatrician for many many years. Our son has Autism, and Dr. S and Lindsay, along with the staff are always excellent with him. They're always accommodating with last minute appointments, and answer all my questions.

I would not go to the doctor Corazon Sanchez. It was unpleasant humiliating and an unkind visit. Christopher, age 4 had a physical and the doctor try to check his ears. This was our first time there. Doctor Sanchez had the audacity to say Christopher “you’re being annoying” because he did not want his ears to be touched . I jumped in and said “ you are so unprofessional”. When a doctor is supposed to be kind considerate patient and professional, she was definitely not that. Ugh!
