As much as other people seem to have had issues, we had the exact opposite experience. We spent $50k at another facility over 10 iui/IVF procedures between two women without luck and with very little effort by the doctor. We suggested things like do iui 2 days in a row and it was shot down. We went to Dr. Connie and she suggested we both eat healthier, exercise and try in a couple months (something we also asked the other doctor and was told heavier people get pregnant all the time…). Dr. Connie did the genetic testing and listened to us. We were pregnant on our third iui (doing back to back sperm days). When an ER doctor told my wife that her bleeding was fetal demise, Dr. Connie saw us at 7:30am the next morning where we heard our daughter’s heartbeat for the first time. We’re moving out of state and are tempted to fly back just to try for baby #2 with Dr. Connie. Keep up the great work, team! 1 star is only because I’m forced to do so. To make a long story short I went to see Dr. Connie Alford 4 years ago with information basically saying I was fine. (I’m trying to explain without disclosing to much personal information); however 4 years later after I was not successful getting pregnant I went to see another fertility Dr, and the information that I was told was the complete opposite from what I was previous told by Dr. Connie Alford, and this was because Connie did not double check; that the radiologist report matched the actual X-ray. Which through research I found that she legally is not required to; however what type of Doctor is this to not double check. Before entering the new fertility office the Doctor had already gotten the X-ray images and was able to tell me over our zoom appointment what my problem was. Wow!!!.. I spent quite a bit of money at ivfmd just to be mis diagnosed and mis informed, because the lack of a DOCTOR not being Thorough. I really wonder what would have happened what kind of other Rxs I would have been put on (because I was put on 1 by them) had I continued to go I wonder how much time and money would have been spent until she realized the radiologist actually made a mistake. That the first test she did could have answered all my questions and solved my infertility issue. My child could have been 3 by now. I could have made finically better decisions had I of known 4 years ago what my issue was. Ladies all’s I’m saying is weather you go here or to another Doctor always always get a second opinion or proof of the information your being told..... So when I found out the information from the other fertility doctor I called to schedule a consult with Dr. Connie Alford I was told I had to pay out of pocket they no longer took the insurance I have fine no problem. I signed a release to release over the X-ray images so she could compare it to the report and in fact tell me that she did make the mistake and maybe she will double check each time now and possibly help another women from this happening to them. or that the other office was wrong. Anyways I was called 2 days before my appointment to confirm that I would be coming I said yes! But can you double check that you have my X-rays images? She came back on the phone and said no we don’t have them. i explained to her that was the purpose of my appointment she said there were no notes in the computer about it yet I have emails from the assistant or front staff that told me she had already requested the X-rays images. So This alone was very confusing to me. I said well can you follow up to get them before my appointment? she then said it is my responsibility to follow up with them because they had already requested them once. I was like what??? really that doesn’t seem right but okay fine how come I wasn’t called 2 weeks ago when they were requested and not received and told I had to handle this myself? Now my appointment is in 2 days I work and have no time to go over to radiology regional to do this and they won’t do it over the phone. The answer I got from her was “I don’t know”This office is Incompetent from Dr. Connie Alford to her staff. I will be spreading the word and sharing my story with many many women as soon as I gain the confidence to speak publicly about my issue. Ladies please think twice about This place. Maybe I was the one bad apple who knows the situation and mistakes happen we are all human however as Devastated as I am about what happened here.I’m in absolute shock about the way I was treated after the fact. What a disappointment. The medical field is not for the lazy. This was a huge huge error on the Radiologist who mis wrote the report, and it was a even bigger error on the DR who I trusted. I was referred to Dr Alford by my OB for surgery but after 2 months of expensive ultrasounds, lab work, and copays it became clear that unless we were willing to do IVF along with it she was not interested. Perfect place to go if you are wealthy and need IVF; pleasant enough staff and clean office. However if you’re like me and just need a routine procedure insurance will cover don’t waste your time.

0 stars. Extremely unprofessional. Unresponsive staff, very casual getting back to you and typically will make you wait 2-3 months beore you can get a visit. Once you have the visit, they will order unnecessary/expensive tests, then schedule another visit 2-3 months down the road to reviews. Then will make you wait another 2-3 months before any intervention is done. Basically unless you’re willing to write a check for $10,000+ the first visit for IVF you are not significant to them.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Dr. Alford’s office. Dr. Alford is clearly very intelligent and knows her subject matter. We also found her to be warm and compassionate once we had been around her a few times. The nurses and medical assistants are absolutely incredible. They were so caring and kind to us throughout our journey. Every patient’s situation is different and infertility often brings a lot of frustration & questions, but overall, we had an excellent experience

Never had answers to our questions everytime we walked out of there we felt like there was no hope my wife n I had many crying sessions when we walked out of there. da office was often understaffed. We did a full ivf cycle and what probably rubbed me the wrong way is during our FET Dr. had a nurse in training operating the ultrasound machine and couldn't find the correct position for the transfer and she was not confident in the transfer and two weeks later we got the bad news we weren't pregnat

She talks circles around your questions and has no real answers. Pushed IVF every appointment after we clearly told her that we can't afford it and we don't need it. Don't waste your time or money.
