Dr. Welch is very knowledgable, he answers my questions, and does not baffle me with medical speak. He speaks plain English.

I have only been in Amarillo TX , 6 months now. I have a complex medical condition, in the past having 2 DVT’s in my left leg and a cardiac condition plus RA, OA,, Osteoporosis it’s been necessary to be on blood thinners. Being on blood thinners and the DVT’s the healing in my left leg is poor. Just prior to moving to Amarillo ii hit my left leg with my car door causing a wound. It was not healing properly legs became quite swollen and then infection set in the wound became larger and more swollen. I was referred to the wound clinic at BSA, my first meeting was with Dr Cody Welch MD. He came in, in a very professional manner, introducing himself asked to look at my leg. He explained what the problem was and what needed to be done to get the leg in good shape again. First he made me feel extremely comfortable working with his staff exploring everything with me to them. He made sure most of all that l was comfortable before debrieding the wound. Coming from out of state (CA) I’ve been making progress slowly but it’s getting there. His staffing is very professional, facility very clean and the best “THEY CARE FOR YOU AS A PERSON!” Sir (Dr Welch) thank you and your staff. God Bless Will see you next Thursday. Absolutely the best health care team and Dr. Welch is a spectacular physician. I have seen the results of the work they do and cannot recommend them enough. Dr. Welch is a fantastic doctor. He is warm friendly and very caring of everyone.

Dr. Welch is treating me at the BSA Advanced Wound Care clinic. He is a joy to deal with: knowledgeable, friendly, caring, flexible and technically skilled. Students and residents need to follow him; he is a great role model.

Dr Welch is an excellent wound care Dr. He has been working on my foot wounds for months and most are almost healed. He speaks regular english not medicalese.
