Note: Dr. Perez joined the surgical staff of Rush Medical Center summer 2018. When a biopsy confirmed I had early stage breast cancer, Interventional Radiologist, Dr. J., recommended I see a surgeon the same week. This would be difficult because it was mid August when doctors are away on vacation. Dr. J. gave me Dr. Perez’s name in case she was immediately available. When I met Dr. Perez, I found her to be warm, kind and empathic. After a second opinion, I chose Dr. Perez to perform breast-conserving surgery. Sensing my urgency, she rearranged her schedule to do an out-patient procedure before she too, left on vacation. The results are remarkable; there was some bruising which is to be expected. My breast matches the other and a small scar is fading. I was fortunate to find Dr. Perez for breast cancer surgery. I continue to see her for follow-up twice a year. You will be in good hands under her care.

Caring, Competent and very thorough from diagnosis all the way through post-surgical follow-up. Took as much time as I needed to explain my diagnosis and treatment options. Excellent surgeon. I would highly recommend her!

This doctor is terrible. She is rude and nasty. Very impatient and I do not trust her or her staff.
