Despite some of the negatives reviews, Dr. Hays has been wonderful. She's helped me with many issues since I became a patient in 2016. I highly recommend her. She cares and takes time with appointments - you don't feel rushed like there's someone more important that she needs to get to.

I had a miscarriage and interacted with Dr. Hays via telephone and MyChart. I completed three blood draws with them to see if my HCG levels went down. I contacted the office and asked if I need another blood draw and they said until your levels are zero. At no point did I see a doctor or nurse, I had to advocate for myself to get labs. I expressed my concerns that I'm having back and uterus pain a week later. It was never addressed in return messages. I started asking questions and calling other OBGYN offices. Other offices said I need to be seen immediately and should have had an ultrasound when I first reported a miscarriage. I will never go back to this practice. The front office is also hard to get ahold of 40 mins on hold each time.

If the statute of limitations were longer for poor medical practice, Ms. Hays would no longer be practicing. My mother was the fourth patient that has had her uterus ruptured during delivery due to Ms. Hays’ negligence. I am thankful for my life to this day. Ms. Hays gave my mother an absurd amount of Pitocin to speed up my delivery. The reason for this? An important UMD basketball game. If a doctor’s priorities are not solely the patient, should they even be practicing? When Ms. Hays broke the news that my mother no longer had a uterus, she asked, “You didn’t want to have anymore kids did you?” Ms. Hays is beyond lucky she is still practicing but after this review, it may not be so :( If the statute of limitations were longer for poor medical practice, Ms. Hays would no longer be practicing. I’ve always had very experiences w/ Dr Hays. She delivered my baby a few years ago & just recently did my procedure. She’s very caring & always takes time to listen & answer any questions I have. She’s very experienced & knowledgeable. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a woman’s health provider!

Dr Hays is a wonderful knowledgeable and caring physician. She has all of the qualities you look for in a physician and always pleasant to talk to. I would and have recommended her to family and friends. I also know she has taken a sabbatical to perform charity work in other countries which really speaks to her character and caring heart.

Saw this Dr today. She came in the office and turned her back, sat down, and started to type on her laptop, while asking questions. Who conducts an interview with there back to you? Then tells a pregnant woman who can’t make her appointments, that the dr will refuse to see you if you can’t make your appt She didn’t even care to ask what the problem was for me not being able to make the appointment. The absolute deplorable representation of a professional provider. Is this ethical?

Kindest doctor I have met in the area. She takes her time with you and truly cares about her patients.

I didn't care too much for Dr. Hays. I feel her bedside manner could be a bit more warm and friendly. She is an informative doctor but can come off as rude. She is very direct. I am scheduled for a C-Section and when asking her questions she had snarky responses. Thank GOD she isn't the one performing the C-Section as I would've demanded someone else or transferred practices. I have anxiety and her responses only made my anxiety worse. I would never go to her again and would not recommend anyone to her. Don't get me wrong, I feel as though a doctor should be honest and direct but the delivery of the information is just as important! I didn't care too much for Dr. Hays.
