Dr. Claude H Tolbert JR.

My visits with him are always great I have seen him since I was pregnant with my 19-year-old going to be 20 soon. He was also my OB for my twins. I have continued to see him in between and currently now that I’m done having kids. He’s never forgotten me he’s always asked about my kids whenever I’ve seen him he remembers them all including my oldest that was a six-year-old the first time he met him. Great doctor great bedside manner I’ll make it a point to always recommend him whenever somebody’s looking for an OB/GYN doctor.

Dr. Tolbert and his staff are all amazing. He made me feel so comfortable. I look forward to seeing him as well as his nurse Shauna in the future.

Horrible bedside manner and shows zero empathy. He did not listen to anything I said or take the time to listen. He said all my problems are “genetic” despite knowing none of my genetics. He also stated “I can tell from here you’re fine”…he looked at none of my problems but could tell I was “fine”… very disappointing

I was referred to Dr. Tolbert by my General Practitioner Dr. Burnett for fibroids. She had warned me that I may need a hysterectomy and wanted me to do a consult with Dr. Tolbert. From our first meeting I felt safe. I went in prepared to fight the hysterectomy but after the informational session with Dr. Tolbert I knew that I was in good hands. He explained everything and helped me face my fears about the procedure. O love that he sees his patients as a part of his extended family and does not rush. He went the extra mile to ensure decisions about my body were well thought out and gave me all my realistic options. I proceeded with the hysterectomy and it was very seamless. As promised he took great care of me from the pre op to the post op. I was so satisfied with my results I referred him to my niece who is also suffering with fibroids and he agreed without hesitating to consult with her and she like I felt relieved to have him on her wellness team. Thank you Dr. Tolbert, I appreciate your improving the quality of my life and improving my health. I would recommend him to any women struggling with fibriods or other issues hindering their female reproductive system. BEST FIBROID SURGEON EVER! Finding Dr Tolbert is an amazing blessing - I am eternally grateful to him for his surgical skill & acumen. At 38 years old and childless, I intend to keep both my fertility & lady parts intact! He is the ONLY doctor I visited willing to do a myomectomy (fibroid surgery) for me due to the difficult placement of my fibroids. Dr Tolbert is highly credentialed at robotic surgery, & furthermore it is his presence, his mindfulness, & his drive to continously learning - to be at the forefront of his industry that makes him the best choice. During our surgery (myomectomy) he discovered my fibroid tumors where both larger then they appeared on the sonogram, & also dangerously close to a major artery. Most other surgeons would have taken the easiest route & removed my uterus entirely. Tolbert, however, showing good judgment on behalf of me the patient, & ability to make quick decisions, completed the challenge innovatively and successfully, PRESERVING ALL my uterus. I have a new lease on life, & minimal scarring! Also my healing has been remarkable - off painkillers in 2 days, back to work now a week later, and feeling better then i have in a long time.. Dr. Tolbert has been my primary Obstetrician-gynecologist for the past 10mos +/- and I've been very satisfied in the care provided. He is very thorough, listens to his patients and is always ready to discuss in detail, your concerns. He performed my myomectomy in Feb and maintained contact throughout recovery to ensure all was well. I asked him prior to surgery, for a picture of the fibroid after removal, which is not common practice, but I was very greatful when he obliged AND delivered the pictures post surgery. Not too often do you find physicians who provide that level of care and just downright friendliness to their patients. I find his bedside manners to be more respectful and pleasant compared to previous interactions with other physicians, a major reason why I have continued under his care. He is always efficient in providing a response to messages needing further help. His team does a great job to ensure he is able to give his best to his patients.

Dr. Claude Tolbert and the staff at Riverside Women’s Care are the best! The environment is warm and personable but at the same time professional. Dr. Tolbert is patient and thorough in both his examination and explanations. He doesn’t just “check boxes” to get through the appointment, but really seeks to understand and use his exceptional knowledge and experience to find solutions. I would highly recommend him and the entire staff of Riverside Women’s care to anyone seeking care.

Like another reviewer, Dr. Tolbert is my favorite doctor ever. He is kind, professional, highly skilled and really makes an effort to get to know you as a person. I can't say enough wonderful things about him.

Dr. Tolbert is very personable and compassionate. I saw him at The Bulffton Medical Campus and his office staff was great. His nursing staff were very caring and patient. I would highly recommend him!

Dr Tolbert is my favorite doctor ever!! Most doctors walk in a hurry you out. Not Dr Tolbert! He's very personable, takes time and care to understand what you're going through, quickly identifies the problem and gently explains treatment. That you Dr Tolbert for being my surgeon! Wonderful Doctor!!! He preformed my full hysterectomy two years ago, which gave me back my life. Everything went so well I was released to go back to work at my 2 week checkup. I can't say enough good about my whole experience. My procedure was done with the divinci robotic surgery. Fantastic!!!!!????????
