Not understanding, and claims my conditions are just excuses. Insensitive to a struggling patient trying to live day by day.

First, visit with Dr. Coker! My husband has been going to Dr. Cover for years and has been very satisfied with his treatment! I found him to be very personable and kind! He listen and explained my concerns!

Horrible Staff! Patients often interact with office staff more than they do with the medical staff. I would not post a negative review over one interaction. They have consistently been rude and condescending to my elderly mother. They have not taken the time to update their address on Google, yet berate my mother for not using Google maps to find the place! We are in a new city. We are not use to this traffic. My mother was 18 minutes late. They said, well if you had been here 3 minutes ago...Then recommended she do practice driving by on days before her appointments. Finally, she demanded to know WHY mother had chosen Dr. Coker and asked if she just 'happened' across his name. She explained no, that she was retired nursing faculty (over 30 years as a tenured nursing professor) and had been recommended to him because she is into pathology and knowing the rationale for medications and Dr. Coker is supposed to be someone that will sit an discuss the functions and purpose with her. The lady rolled her eyes and said well she couldn't be seen today and that she should have used GPS. IT IS UNACCEPTABLE to treat someone this way - no matter their appearance or age! - Be leery and careful if you are elderly or plan to live long enough to become elderly. I do not recommend using any of the doctors at this practice because you will have to deal with this staff person eventually! Finding all new doctors is stressful enough without these type of experiencing in what is supposed to be an inviting southern city! Horrible Staff! My husband and I have been seeing Dr Coker since Dr Brearly retired many years ago. I love and appreciate the kindness and compassion he showed me when my husband died. He takes his time and listens to his patients which is very important.

Very attentive and was most helpful-kind man

The most understanding doctor. Dr. Coker has been wonderful to myself and my husband. Dr. Coker has been the most helpful when it comes to diabetes. I owe him a big Thank You for helping me get my diabetes on the right track. Great Doctor.

Arrogant, rushed and impatient. Mainly types on the computer during the visit. Totally indifferent and uncaring.

Dr. Coker has been our doctor for years. He is never rushed when he walks into the room, he is thorough and listens. He is not one to throw meds at a situation that doesn't need it. I LOVE that!

Very thorough and personable...he really takes his time and you never feel rushed
