Yes, This was my 4th major surgery I have had in my lifetime and this Surgery was the most professionally handled that I have ever experienced. I have already referred two people to Dr. Wolfla.

I had a spinal fusion by Dr. Wolfla. I had complications in the hospital & he came to my room & yelled at me. That was the only time he ever checked on me during my 4 day hospital stay. I was even sent home, from the hospital, w/out a back brace. He also told my employer & I that I would be back to work w/out restrictions in 1 month. The surgery did not help my pain & I couldn't return to work in several months. Which then lead to me losing my job & the surgery ended my career. I was left partially disabled. He told me "what's your problem? Get up & go!" He was so rude & unapologetic from surgery day & after. After a few months, he refused to even see me anymore. A friend of mine had the same exact experience w/ Dr. Wolfla. This guy should not be allowed to even practice medicine anymore, in my opinion!

I just had my third spine surgery with Dr. Wolfla. I recommend him to anyone I know is having back problems. He is very patient, kind, informative and I am 100% confident in his ability to correct whatever is wrong. He makes me feel very comfortable before and after the procedure.

I had a C5-6 ACDF + removing bone-spurs/spinal compression. I was very hesitant about surgery. I had done 6 weeks of PT prior and hoped there would be a non-surgical option. When I met with Dr. Wolfla, he took the time to explain everything, giving me all my options, and answering all my questions without once making me feel like I was taking up too much of his time (I had met briefly with another spine surgeon that was the complete opposite—rushing, short answers, balked when I questioned surgery). After this meeting, I spent very little (conscious) time with Dr. Wolfla. His team is just fantastic—friendly, helpful, patient, caring. There are so many steps before getting into surgery. I was overwhelmed. But I'm so glad I had this team helping me through the pre-op, day-of-surgery, and post-surgery recovery. (I had 1 night in the hospital for this procedure). Nobody wants to have spinal surgery. I'm so grateful I had Dr. Wolfla as my surgeon.

Dr. Wolfla and his team have been very amazing!! From the day I entered his office in the worse pain I have ever been in, Dr. Wolfla took the time and explained everything to me and my wife and gave me options. I am now 14 days out of surgery and recovering. The staff has followed up with me every day after surgery to make sure things are well and when I have had questions of things that are going on through my recovery they answer them very quickly! They have made me and my wife feel at home and treated us almost like we are family. I can not say enough on how lucky I am to have met Dr. Wolfla and his team. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone with spine issues to Dr. Wolfla. Even the staff at Froedtert Menomonee Falls were Exceptional. I stayed the night over and the staff there as well were very caring and professional. Absolutely Positively Satisfied with everything and everyone!!

I would not hesitate to recommend. Dr. Wolfla has a great surrounding cast and technology has helped with the post-op recovery, especially with daily check-in. My concerns were addressed both before and after my spinal fusion.

Dr Wolfla is great. Gets right to the point and takes great care of you. I would highly recommend him to anyone. I was suffering with severe lower back pain and had been seeing another health care provider. They couldn’t figure out what the issue was. In just one visit Dr Wolfla identified the problem and took action.

I was hesitant and anxious about surgery but I tried everything else leading up to it with no success (chiropractor and steroid injections) My chiropractor recommended Dr. Wolfla and after doing research and meeting with him I felt confident with my decision. I had a laminectory,discectomy, facetectomy, formaminotomy L4L5 PLIF/Cages/ non-segmental instrumentation, O-arm/stealth. My biggest concern was that I did not want to have a 2nd surgery and as he explained that he is doing the complete job. He is not just relieving my compression (where some surgeons stop there) but he is adding rods and screws with a spinal fusion. I just completed 2 weeks post surgery and I am very happy to report that my pain from surgery is decreasing and the pain in my legs presurgery is gone. Can’t wait to fast forward a couple months to be back to “normal” something that I haven’t been in MONTHS

Dr. Wolfla explained in terms I could understand what my condition was and how he could repair my probllem. He is confident and reassuring which put me at ease. This is my second experience with Dr. Wolfla and I am already feeling the improvement.

Dr Wolfla and his team are very organized in their process. I had been through 3 months of trying everything possible before I saw the doctor. He reviewed my file and explained what needed to be done for relief from the pain. He even took the time to explain and show what he saw on the MRI so my husband and myself knew we were taking the right next step. Dr Wolfla and his team provided plenty of information before and after the surgery that I knew what to expect every step. He truly cares for his patient and their outcome.

Dr. Wolfla listened to everything I had to say and was very compassionate. He validated that the pain I was feeling was very real. He got me in for surgery 10 days after my consultation. This man gave me my life back, I am so grateful.

Dr. Wolfla is personable yet professional. He was thorough in his examination and diagnosis and clear in his recommendation and the reasons for it. Surgery was scheduled promptly and results are exactly as expected. Dr. Wolfla and his team are scrupulous and detailed in their post-op care and follow up. Best doctor for back surgery and great bedside manner, my experience with him fantastic and my surgery was complicated, did a excellent job,within two weeks walking with very very little pain and driving , my right leg I could not pickup before surgery, 2 weeks after surgery and I can pick it up and hold it to a slow count two five. I’m thrilled, I can’t thank him enough.

I was very happy to have Dr. Wolfla as my back surgeon. He did an excellent job and I felt much better in no time at all. He was very thorough in going over my MRI with me and my wife, answering any and all questions that we had, making sure we understood everything. He has a great personality and demeanor and made me comfortable right from the start, and I had, and continue to have, great trust in him. I think he's a great doctor and would recommend him many times over.

everything went great ,, I was kept informed and everything before and after was explained and all questioned answered. only problem was upon release,, they knew I didn't have assistance at home and sent me home anyway,, no welfare check from the hospital what so ever,,surgery was on 9/18 and I have yet to hear from anyone from the Hospital, I stopped taking the major pain meds due to addition symptoms. They should explain clearly what is to be expected taking powerful pain meds, they didn't

Have great confidence in him

Dr Wolfla made me feel very comfortable with the procedure that he was recommending that I have performed. He has excellent bedside manner. He also surrounds himself with great staff that participated in my care, they were all fantastic.

Knowledgeable, great bedside manner, he spent extra time with me to explain my problem and his recommendations. Helped get me in to surgery as soon as possible due to my pain. Very skilled ! Would recommend him to anyone!!

An important factor I've noticed is that dr. Wolfla and staff alike seem to be attentive to what I am trying to relay when speaking. Whether answering a relative question, asking one or simply rambling. They've held on to that "old fashioned" way of listening instead of waiting for their turn to talk. People who still practice this trait seem to be the hardest to track down. They're usually busy helping others.

Dr. Wolfla explains things well in language I can understand. He is compassionate, friendly, and courteous. He is obviously very good at what he does. He is straightforward in assessing the problem with options and likelihood of success. I would highly recommend him for back surgery.

Spine care staff at hospital was excellent. L5S1 fusion turned out great. Went from life ending pain to almost normal in 8 months. Not one pain pill since week 6 post op. Only grip is I have not talked to him since, assistants only. Since it turned out good, I guess they figure why spent his time here. Needed some reassurance I guess.
