I have been seeing Chris for about 13 years. I originally was seeing him because I was suffering from depression. The first year or two I was concurrently being treated with Dr. Pecen. Following my recovery, I decided to stay with him for my own mental health benefit. I have not had a relapse which some people are prone. I have continued my sessions with Chris because I very much value the self-awareness and growth that I have experienced with Chris over the years.
Chris has saved my life several times. I suffer from PTSD, major depression, and epilepsy. I am also a recovering self injurer. Without the constant compassion he shows I would have committed suicide. He is available for emergencies 24/7 and always responds personally. between him as my counselor and Dr. Ahsan as my psychiatrist (they share an office) I am at a better place than I've been in 30 years. I can see a time that I will feel good enough to go back to work full time. a real miracle
