Like Dr. Nicholson.

He listens to my concerns and he doesn’t dismiss them. He cares about his patients

Dr. Nicholson is great! He takes time to talk and explain concerns over my heart health. He is very knowledgable and professional.

Dr Nicholson is the best at explaining and educating you on your health situation and treatment options. Have enjoyed his management of my heart condition for over 10 years now.

Dr Nicholson was very attentive to my input and responded professionally to my questions and concerns. He was calm and not rushed in his assessment. I am pleased with Dr Martirosian’s referral.

I have been seeing Dr. Nicholson since I moved to the Richmond area in 2013. He was the doctor who diagnosed a 90%blockage in my right carotid artery and got me into Doctor's hospital for surgery. Cannot say enough good things about Dr. Nuchilson and his bedside manner.

Dr. Christopher Nicholson has been my cardiologist for several years. He has never disappointed me. His nursing staff is also top notch. It’s easy to understand why Dr. Nicholson and Henrico Cardiologist are the best in Central Virginia. I highly recommend him.

I was referred to Dr. Nicholson after Ashland Medical Center had me thinking I was AFIB and told me to go to the ER immediately. All he did was change my medicine around and Ive been feeling wonderful ever since. He's such a competent physician and I'm fortunate to have him as my cardiology because I'm in good hands.

He is the best cardiologist in Richmond. Very smart and nice bed side manor too.

His nurse was fantastic! He was fantastic! The entire visit was outstanding! Dr. Nicholson listened to all my concerns, asked about my health and family medical history and took his time with me. I can’t recommend him or his nurse highly enough! The COVID protocol was exemplary and everyone I was close to was vaccinated! 1st visit today and I truly can’t recommend enough!!!

Staff was not as pleasant as in the past. Follow-up on visit was poor as I had to call back 3 times before talking with nurse and assistant.

Called back within 5 minutes of my time Staff well trained. Dr Nicholson is very professional; he Speaks to me not Down to me.

Dr Nicholson always takes the time to find out how you are doing, not just medically but your life. We also discuss other non-heart related issues that could have an impact on your overall health. He never rushes through the exam and makes you feel like he is truly interested.

I have been a patient of Dr Nicholson since 2004 when I was hospitalized for Pneumonia. There was a complication which resulted in a heart attack and I was seen by Drs Nicholson, Levitt and Bui. I have been seeing Dr Nicholson since. Everyone in the office is friendly and kind, and will do everything they can to make things go as smoothly as possible. For a few years, I had been feeling very sick, intermittently, but could never get a diagnosis. Luckily, I had the good fortune of being referred to Dr. Nicholson at Henrico Cardiology. In short order, I had received a definitive diagnosis and was actively pursuing the appropriate treatment regimen. Now, to say that I have “white coat anxiety” would be an understatement. Prior to my visiting Henrico Cardiology, my medical care consisted of toughing it out or visiting the emergency room when it was no longer possible. The staff and Dr. Nicholson have been the kindest, most caring, and most thorough group of professionals. They actually listen and are proactive about my holistic well being, not just my cardiological issues. I have been a patient of Dr. Nicholson since 2010. I had seen two other cardiologist in the Hampton Roads area previously to seeing Dr. Nicholson without ever receiving a diagnosis or treatment. Dr. Nicholson was persistent and correctly identified my problem. He is very efficient but never rushes an appointment. He possesses all the qualities of a good doctor. His nurse is top-notch. From check-in to check-out, his staff is always friendly and caring. And wait times are rarely an issue. I rarely make recommendations, but Dr. Nicholson is an exception. Dr. Nicholson and his staff are always competent, friendly and professional. I've been a patient for many years and wouldn't think about changing to another cardiologist. I never feel like just another patient because the doctor and his staff take a personal interest in your health and well being.

Exceptional care at Henrico Cardiology. Every nurse and NP in this practice are wonderful. You are in very good hands at Henrico Cardiology. I see Dr. Nicolson but I feel the same way about all the physicians. Have known them all for 20+ years.

As always the staff was efficient and all ran in a very timely manner. Doc was terrific and cares that my concerns and issues are addressed. My confidence level in him and the practice are outstanding. I drive from SC to see him.

Was referred to Dr. Nicholson by my primary care doctor for further review of possible cardiac issues. All of the staff for this practice are absolutely EXCELLENT. Can’t say enough good things. Dr. Nicholson is EXCELLENT too. He was compassionate, took the time to listen to all of my concerns, he never rushed thru my appointments with him. He sincerely cared about me and my health issues. He totally puts you at ease when talking to you. AWESOME bedside manner.

Everyone in Dr. Nicholson's office is pleasant and accommodating. Dr. Nicholson gives you all the time you need in a relaxed atmosphere. I have been very pleased with my care from Dr. Nicholson, his nurse and his N.P. Victoria Briggs.

Dr. Nicholson's office is the most efficient medical office I have ever visited. I have been a long time patient and the customer service and concern for each patient only gets better. Dr. Nicholson is not only an outstanding physician, his medical staff are competent and patient oriented. The wait times are very short if any at all. His nurse is thorough and helpful. I cannot say enough about Dr. Nicholson - one of the very best doctors I know. Dr. Nicholson was my mothers physician and he treated her with great respect and care so when I had a heart problem I would not go anywhere else but to Dr. Nicholson. He shows concern and is never too busy that he doesn't listen to you. He is the very Best. Also the nurse that he has with him is also one of the best caring nurse - she is nice, caring, & very pleasant. Great team.

I went to Dr. Nicholson after testing ordered by my Primary Care Physician revealed some unexpected heart problems. When I called and explained my issues to the office staff, they were able to get me in for an appointment within days. Wow! I wanted a Board Certified Cardiologist with privileges at the highest rated local hospital for Cardiology diagnosis/treatment treatment and Dr. Nicholson met that criteria. He’s a great communicator backed up by a nurses that also possess that same skill.

As usual, my latest visit with Dr. Nicholson was done very efficiently while he took time to talk with me. It was quick but I wasn't rushed. I always feel relaxed while there.

Everything went very smoothly from the time I checked in at the front office to the time I made final arrangements for additional testing. All of the employees were very cordial and made me feel relaxed. Dr. Nicholson is quite attentive and answered all of my questions, as well as his asking me pertinent questions about my health and how I have been feeling. His nurse, Ria, is always very pleasant and professional.

First time there and everyone there was very friendly and keep me informed on everything they were doing. I would recommend Henrico Cardiology Associates.

He is one of the best qualified Heart doctors in Richmond! I see him for a heart valve issue, and he has great bed side manor. Really knows what he is doing and is very helpful when you really need it. Great office. Parham office has better parking.

I have been seeing Dr. Nicholson for about two years after my original doctor retired. Dr. Nicholson is very patient, understanding and intelligent. I personally do not have a major problems but still see him every six months to a year for a check up since I am 79 years old. Highly recommend him (which I have done) and feel very confident in his handling of me.

Starting seeing Dr Nicholson through my PCP’s referral. I can honestly say I don’t know how his sweet staff and nurse could have been any nicer or helpful. Then, when Dr Nicholson came in to meet me...I was so very impressed with his kindness, caring and professionalism. If you are looking for a kind, caring Cardiologist, I HIGHLY recommend you call and make an appointment with Dr Nicholson. In my opinion, you won’t be sorry.
